Afinia L301 driver downloads

L301 is an Afinia Label inkjet label printer, identified by the exact manual and the manufacturer’s 2017 product article. This guide serves existing units; the old equipment-specification URL returns 404, so use the current model support page. Match L301 on the unit. L501/L502 files and procedures are separate.

Print driver and other software

Checked 16 October 2026: the official support page lists Full Installer & Driver, User Manual and Quick Start Guide. The installer link’s filename is Afinia_L301_Driver_1.0.7.zip. This is a filename observation; the ZIP was not downloaded and its internal version, architecture and current Windows requirements remain unverified.

Printing / ToolboxOfficial full installerThe manual bundles the print driver with maintenance utilities. Install the model software before connecting USB; its historical CD procedure is not a current Windows 11/ARM64 compatibility certificate.
Design / PDF viewingBartender / Adobe ReaderThese are listed separately as other software, with their own requirements and terms. A label-design app or PDF viewer does not supply the L301 print driver.
PC-only failureModel, system and queueCommon checks: record the exact OS and system type, keep the extracted folders together, compare the selected L301 queue and physical USB path. Return to L301 driver downloads.

Confirm the actual USB path

The manual shows a rear USB computer connection. Wi-Fi, Ethernet, Bluetooth and AirPrint support are not established by the reviewed L301 sources. Do not choose another model’s network package because the brand matches. No Mac/Linux package or ARM compatibility is claimed here.

L301 printing and device checks

Separate a device quality report from PC output

For a device-side quality check, use Setup → Tools → Print Quality Report with labels at least 4 inches wide. It checks ink output, while the PC Toolbox diagnostics also depend on installed software and a working USB connection. Help → Printer Information identifies the unit. Compare a device report with a small PC job before changing drivers.

Return the manual cutter fully left

After motion stops, cut by moving the slider fully right and then fully left. The full manual repeatedly requires the left end for printing; the Quick Start LED row says left or right. Follow the detailed manual pages20/21/29/31, rather than treating the right end as ready. Do not force a jammed cutter.

Manual p20

Stock sensing and loading

Use stock with an inkjet-receptive coating. Match actual Die Cut, Black Mark or Continuous stock in printing preferences. When the unit is ready for loading (green slow, red off), present a straight, intact leading edge and adjust the guide after auto-feed begins. Cut printed output before Unload; a pending cut prevents unloading.

Eight LED states: read both colours together

These are status combinations, not invented numeric codes. A red light alone does not identify a driver fault.

Choose the relevant maintenance tool

Toolbox separates quality patterns, cartridge alignment, cleaning and ink estimates. Inspect a pattern before choosing a utility; repeated blind cleaning consumes ink. A smear caused by unsuitable coating will not be corrected by a different driver. For roller release and jam access, use the exact page32 diagram; stop if stock cannot be removed gently.

Official evidence and scope

The 33-page manual is version1.0.3, with December2016 edition text. Fourteen full pages and Quick Start page4 were visually checked. These are source-based steps, not an installation or physical print test. No numeric error code, reset recipe, current OS support, firmware change or package-signature approval is inferred.
