Official app downloads
| Check | What to check |
|---|---|
| Android | PRTFOX · Google Play lists BENTSAI and app ID com.xdream.foxinkjetprinter. The checked public listing did not establish the minimum Android version or per-CPU requirements. |
| iPhone | PRTFOX · App Store lists seller ZHUHAI BENTSAI PRINTING TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. and iOS 11.0 or later. Installation and connection on a physical phone were not tested. |
| PC route | A Windows/macOS desktop print driver was not verified in this product/manual route. App-store Mac eligibility is distinct from a supported B10 Mini desktop print queue. |
Use the manual QR or the store entries above for the actual region/OS. Firmware for another BENTSAI model is not an app installer.
B10 Mini model check
| Check | What to check |
|---|---|
| Model / app | The product is titled B10 Mini and its model table says B10. Its manufacturer-linked instructions are titled BENTSAI PRTFOX; the product text also names PRTFOX. Compare these with the actual unit’s model name. |
| Printing | This is a handheld inkjet marker. Its model specifications are 300 dpi, 2.5–12.7 mm print height and 406 mm maximum length. Generic app maximum-resolution claims do not replace these model specifications. |
| Power | The manual describes USB-C as a 5 V / 1 A charging port. The connector’s shape alone does not establish PC USB printing. |
Connect your phone
- Hold the power button for about one second and check readiness. In phone Wi-Fi settings, choose the PRTFOX network matching the actual unit’s serial number.
- Use the actual unit/manufacturer connection details. The manual’s illustration shows keeping the direct connection despite its lack of Internet; wording may differ by phone OS.
- Open PRTFOX and check the selected printer’s connection. If the phone switched to another Wi-Fi network, compare its current destination again.
Send and prepare to print
- Create/edit the content in the app, then use the editing screen’s upper-right printer icon to send it. First check that the same unit is connected.
- Open the bottom printhead protective cap and briefly press the print/power button. Distinguish that bottom cap from the upper cartridge cover.
- Move smoothly at a steady speed, keeping the encoder rolling on the surface. For repeated gaps, compare movement, cap/cartridge condition and the manual’s care instructions.
Read the indicators
The diagram labels status and Wi-Fi indicators separately. Record which light it is, steady versus flashing, and whether the unit is charging.
| Check | What to check |
|---|---|
| Ready | The status light is white during startup and steady green when ready. |
| Printing | The status table uses steady blue for printing and flashing green for cancellation. |
| Ink | The status table associates steady red with a missing cartridge. Compare the cover and correct cartridge seating. |
| Red blink | Both protection mode and low battery use flashing red; blinking alone does not identify a unique cause. |
| Wi-Fi | Steady blue on the Wi-Fi indicator means disconnected and steady green means connected. Distinguish it from blue on the printing-status light. |
| Update | The table uses steady yellow for firmware updating and steady pink for update failure. Record the condition for manufacturer support. |
| Charging | Charging with power off is red and full charge is green. Include power/charging conditions before calling a red light a cartridge fault. |
Choose the next check
| Check | What to check |
|---|---|
| App link | Compare the actual unit’s network under phone connection. |
| Sending | Check the official app and sending sequence for the same unit. |
| Gaps | Compare cap, encoder contact/movement and cartridge under printing preparation. |
| Steady red | Use the indicator table to distinguish the light and charging condition. |
| Blinking red | Record the indicator conditions shared by protection/low battery; seek support if it persists. |
| PC driver | Before using another model’s files, compare the phone-app route under B10 Mini official downloads. |
Cap and cartridge care
Follow the manual’s cap/cartridge-clip storage sequence. For more than ten minutes without use, it directs removing the cartridge and attaching its cartridge clip.
Do not wipe the device interior with a wet cloth. For persistent quality problems, prepare the unit/cartridge details and a sample for the manufacturer or supplier.
