Official 1140 RH driver download
Check the label and roll holder to identify your 1140 RH. On DASCOM Americas, choose Printer Drivers → 1140 RH Printer Driver. The global 1140 RH product page separately lists TD1xxxDriverSetup6.9 for 32-bit and 64-bit Windows. The Printer Config Tool and firmware are separate from the print driver. The standard 1140 RH uses USB 2.0. DASCOM Europe lists USB only (910 003), USB and parallel (910 004), USB and serial (910 005), and USB and Ethernet (910 006) separately. Check your label and rear connectors before setting up another port. DASCOM Europe port variants
Run the Online self-test from the printer
With paper loaded, switch the printer off and hold Online (S4) as you switch it back on. The printer prints its settings and test pattern without a computer job. Official power-on self-test
If the self-test prints but computer jobs do not, check the physical connection and port, the printer selected in the app, and the official 1140 RH driver.
When roll paper does not load automatically
Use media 75–220 mm wide. The roll can be up to 130 mm across and 2 kg; the core must be at least 20 mm across.
- Set the roll in position A in the installation diagram. Position B is for fanfold paper. Put the left guide at the marked reference and adjust the right guide to the paper width.
- Check the guide plate and grounding clip against the diagram. Switch on the printer and feed the leading edge between the guides. Once detected, the printer pulls the paper in. Roll positions and guides · Guide plate, grounding and automatic loading
- If the printer goes offline and beeps continuously after you move the paper lever with paper loaded, return the lever to the correct position. Unload paper before switching paths. Paper lever troubleshooting
