ET-1810 is a print-only ink-tank printer
The product specifies printing with USB, Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Direct. Generic scan, CD/DVD or other-model FAQs on the support portal do not establish scanner, copier or disc-printing hardware on ET-1810. This guide applies the shared ET-1810/L1250 manual to ET-1810.

Windows/Mac files and the Linux search scope
| Item | Check |
|---|---|
| Windows 11 | The selected result lists Driver v3.80.05, 9 October 2026, 68.91MB EXE. Distinguish the print driver from Product Setup, Software Updater and Connection Checker. An Updater ARM64 note was not used as proof of the driver’s binary architecture. |
| macOS 15 (Sequoia) | Exact macOS 15 result lists Driver v13.48, 11 May 2026, 82.62MB DMG. Installation, signatures and Apple Silicon runtime were not tested. |
| Linux | Official Linux result links to a separate search for supported products. Verify the exact ET-1810 Series result, package, CPU and distribution before assuming Linux compatibility. |
Distinguish USB, router Wi-Fi and Direct
| Item | Check |
|---|---|
| USB | The PC interface is Hi-Speed USB; the manual excludes USB 3.0 cables. Check a cable that fits the actual printer port. |
| Wi-Fi | IEEE 802.11b/g/n, 2.4GHz infrastructure connection. Compare the router network name on the report. |
| Wi-Fi Direct | Simple AP connects directly to the printer. Distinguish it from router Wi-Fi and check the current route on the status sheet. |
A generic Ethernet FAQ does not establish a wired LAN port; use this model’s verified interface list.
Load the rear paper feeder
- Extend the rear paper support and move the edge guides apart.
- Load centrally with the printable side up; keep plain paper below the marked guide line.
- Feed ordinary paper short edge first and align the edge guides. Check the separate official conditions for custom long paper.
- Extend the output tray; match the application’s paper type/size to the loaded stock.
Print a nozzle pattern with Power and Stop
- Load A4 plain paper and switch off using the power button.
- Hold Stop (the inverted triangle in a circle) while powering on.
- Release the buttons when the power light flashes; wait for the pattern.
- Compare cases A/B/C below. This nozzle check prints without a PC print job.
| Item | Check |
|---|---|
| A | All lines present: no further cleaning needed. |
| B | Some missing lines: while powered on, hold Stop for five seconds until the power light flashes to start ordinary head cleaning. |
| C | Most lines absent: first check Power Cleaning ink-level and waiting requirements. |

Network reports, codes and PC comparison
Load paper: press Information (network/i symbol) once for the connection report; hold at least seven seconds for the detailed status sheet. Holding Information during power-on restores network defaults, so keep it separate from report printing.
Official manual PDF: 17, 124, 129
| Item | Check |
|---|---|
| E-2 / E-3 / E-7 | Check router power, device connection, SSID, distance/obstacles and a supported frequency such as 2.4GHz. |
| E-5 | Compare router security with the official supported list; consult the administrator rather than weakening a managed network. |
| E-6 | Check whether MAC filtering permits this printer and whether the router’s device limit is reached. |
- Common PC check: compare the device nozzle pattern with application output.
- Common PC check: compare the selected queue, actual USB/wireless route and current report address.
- If device output is good but PC jobs fail, check the exact ET-1810 driver and paper settings.
ET-1810 printing troubleshooting
Nine light-pattern checks
Record steady/flashing and simultaneous/alternating behavior. Read numeric errors from the actual network report.
| Item | Check |
|---|---|
| Wi-Fi/Direct lights flash | Wi-Fi connection error: clear with Wi-Fi, then check the actual connection. |
| Ink light on | Initial ink charging may be incomplete; follow Start Here. |
| Paper light on | No paper or multiple-sheet feed: reload and press Stop. |
| Paper light flashes | Paper jam: follow the official removal path, then press Stop. |
| Ink/paper both on | Incorrect shutdown: clear with Stop; cancel pending jobs and check nozzles. |
| Ink/paper flash together | Ink-pad service-life warning/end: arrange authorized replacement. |
| Ink/paper flash alternately | Borderless-printing pad warning/end. Distinguish it from the main pad; follow the actual PC message about bordered printing. |
| Network/ink/paper lights on | Recovery-mode pattern after a failed firmware update; consult official regional recovery guidance, without assuming an ordinary driver fault. |
| Power/network/ink/paper flash | Printer-error pattern: check for paper inside; if it persists after a power cycle, contact Epson support. |

Ink levels, cleaning limits and pad service
Visually check actual tank levels; prolonged use below the lower line can cause damage. Do not switch off or open the front cover during ordinary cleaning. If three nozzle-check/cleaning cycles do not help, wait at least 12 hours without printing before checking again.
Before Power Cleaning, ensure every tank is at least one-third full and allow at least 12 hours between runs. It also consumes pad capacity, so avoid unnecessary repetition. The ink pads are not user-serviceable; contact authorized service.
