USB connection
Follow the installer’s prompts. The printer guide shows a USB cable connected to the printer and computer before turning the printer on. Select LW-PX900 and the loaded tape width in Label Editor.
Disconnect the cable at the printer to exit computer mode before printing from the keyboard. USB setup, page 10
Print from the keyboard
Use dedicated PX tape in 4, 6, 9, 12, 18, 24 or 36 mm widths. With power off, take up any ribbon slack as shown in the manual. Seat the cartridge with the tape end in the exit slot and close the top cover.
Turn on the printer and select Tape feed after installing a cartridge. Type a short label and press the print key. Keep fingers out of the exit slot and wait until printing finishes before taking the label.
Tape and display messages
