Official SureLab D1070 driver download
Select Operating System on official support for US model SLD1070SE. The printer driver, Maintenance Tool and firmware serve different roles. Do not substitute files for a similarly named D570 or D1070DE without official model applicability.
OS, setup order and file roles
| Check | Check and next step |
|---|---|
| Windows | The checked Windows 11 selected listing contains Printer Driver v1.5.0, dated 2025-07-25, filename SLD1070_X64_150_AM.exe. The Combo is a separate installer bundle obtaining the driver and Maintenance Tool. Listing metadata does not establish Windows ARM support, signature trust or installation success. |
| Mac / older OS table | Check the current Mac file through the official OS selector. Guide p.168 explicitly dates its Windows 10/8.1 and OS X 10.9.5-or-later Intel requirements to August 2021; this is not blanket current macOS/Apple silicon approval. The Mac Maintenance Tool bundling statement on p.26 is also historical documentation. |
| USB setup order | Setup p.4 starts with USB disconnected from the computer and connects a USB 2.0 cable when prompted. Keep Maintenance Tool and Firmware entries separate from the print driver, and match the actual OS and exact model. |
Exact model, connections and duplex conditions
| Check | Check and next step |
|---|---|
| Identify D1070 | SLD1070SE is a photo inkjet minilab with a 1.44-inch LCD and six-color UltraChrome D6r-S dye ink packs. Distinguish it from a dye-sublimation ribbon/media-set printer. |
| USB / wired LAN | Rear LAN/USB ports are separate from AC power (p.11). Page 171 lists Hi-Speed USB and 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX. Match the actual connection to the computer’s printer port. |
| Wi-Fi / Direct | The D1070-specific row on p.171 lists 802.11b/g/n/a/ac with 2.4/5GHz. Do not copy the separate SL-D1000/SL-D1030 row. Router Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Direct are distinct modes; neither establishes Bluetooth printing. |
| Duplex condition | The base D1070 product is a single-sided configuration. Its exact FAQ allows a duplex feeder to be added; setup separately identifies the boxed duplex unit included with D1070DE. Check the actual fitted feeder and media. Roll-paper duplex printing is unsupported (p.58). |
Separate roll and rear cut-sheet media
| Check | Check and next step |
|---|---|
| Roll paper | Page 172 specifies one roll with a 3-inch core, outer diameter at most 170mm, widths 3.5/4/5/6/8 inches or A4, and thickness 0.22–0.25mm. Uneven roll ends or a ragged leading edge can cause feeding trouble (p.29). |
| Rear cut sheets | For rear feeding, send the print job before loading the sheet. Face the printable side toward you and align the guides (p.36). Rear-feed thickness 0.20–0.50mm is distinct from the roll range (p.172). |
| Source / media settings | Match printer, driver and application paper width/size/type to the actual source (pp.158–160). The optional cassette also distinguishes photo-paper and card-stock rollers. Do not assume arbitrary sublimation media or every thick sheet is suitable. |
Compare a nozzle test independently of the PC driver
This is the device test on guide p.78. Auto nozzle checking is configured in Maintenance Tool and can compensate using healthy nozzles or clean automatically; it is not a direction to repeat manual cleaning routinely. The test consumes real paper and ink.
- Load paper in the source selected by Printer Setup → Paper Source Settings → Paper path for maintenance printing.
- From Home choose Settings → Maintenance, using the arrow keys and OK.
- Select Print Head Nozzle Check.
- Follow the LCD prompts to print the nozzle pattern.
- If all lines match pattern A, finish with No. For missing lines, consult the LCD message and documented cleaning guidance, then compare with computer output.
Network report and E-1-family codes
These four steps on p.132 check printer/router connectivity separately from a PC driver installation test.
- Load the paper source assigned to maintenance printing.
- Choose Settings from Home and press OK.
- Choose Network Settings → Connection Check.
- Press OK to print the connection report, then read its actual code and Network Status.
| Check | Check and next step |
|---|---|
| E-1 | Check the wired cable/hub power or chosen Wi-Fi connection (p.133). This report code differs from LCD E-01. |
| E-2 / E-3 / E-7 | Compare router power, the exact SSID, signal and operating band (p.133); these are not automatically driver failures. |
| E-5 / E-6 | Ask the administrator to verify security/authentication and MAC-address policy (pp.133–134). Do not disable security or switch to legacy WEP as a routine repair. |
| E-8 / E-9 / E-10 / E-11 | Compare the report’s actual IP, subnet, gateway and device power (pp.134–135). Do not configure 0.0.0.0 or copy example addresses. |
| E-12 / E-13 | Check duplicate addresses, differing networks and the combination of manual/automatic addressing (p.135). Coordinate changes with the network administrator. |
LCD codes and displayed messages
These categories come from guide p.140. Read the full screen message before choosing the next action; the code alone does not establish every cause.
| Check | Check and next step |
|---|---|
| E-01 | Printer fatal-error category (p.140). Record the actual detailed message/code and contact official support if it persists; do not confuse it with network E-1. |
| W-01 | Paper-jam category. Identify the affected source and LCD instructions; do not pull forcibly or disassemble the cutter. |
| W-11 / W-12 | W-11 indicates an absent ink supply unit; W-12 is recognition failure (p.140). Compare the correct model/color/seating with the manual; do not bypass recognition protection. |
| W-41 / W-42 / W-43 | Nozzle-detection error category (p.140). Distinguish faint output from failure to read the detection pattern, using the actual message. |
| W-44 / W-45 | Sensor-module error (p.140). Internal sensor adjustment/replacement is not a routine driver-repair step. |
| W-51 / W-52 / W-53 | Abnormal analysis of sensor image-quality results (p.140). Do not invent an unverified failed component for each number. |
| AirPrint | The guide states that disabling Paper Setup Auto Display prevents AirPrint (pp.140,160). Check that setting and AirPrint availability; this is not an invented numeric code. |
Supplies, barcode and service checks
| Check | Check and next step |
|---|---|
| Ink / maintenance box | Low ink or a near-full maintenance box can allow printing until replacement is required, while insufficient box space can prevent cleaning (pp.139–140). Do not use counter resets or waste-ink bypasses as a repair. |
| Barcode / nozzle reading | Distinguish remaining-paper barcode failure from an unreadable auto-nozzle pattern (p.139). Compare media/actual remaining amount and the instructions; recurring failures require official sensor assessment. |
| Cut edge / rear marks | A frayed cut edge or cracked coating can require official cutter replacement (p.160). Rear marks on duplex photo paper can also involve the fitted roller type (p.159). Do not add an improvised cutter/roller disassembly procedure. |
