USBThe exact LP620 product specifies wired USB. Follow the web setup sequence with the printer off when attaching its supplied power source and USB data cable.
Phones / wirelessThe LP620 overview excludes Android, iPhone, iPad and Chromebook. Do not treat LP620 as a Bluetooth model such as BT620.
Power / model labelMatch the LP620 device label to its download entries and use the supplied power source. A USB data connection is separate from another model’s wireless-app workflow.

Three steps for the device self-test label

The official setup guide lists this procedure under the model group including LP620. Load labels correctly and compare device output separately from PC jobs.

  1. Turn the printer off.
  2. Hold the paper feeder button while switching power on.
  3. Release after startup. The printer outputs its firmware self-test label.

Four loading steps and matching page sizes

  1. With the printer off, connect the supplied power source, cord and USB cable in the official sequence.
  2. Press both side release buttons to open the cover.
  3. Feed labels from the back, printing side up, and adjust the guides to their width.
  4. Close the cover and power on. The guide describes automatic label detection at this stage.

The manufacturer matches the label file’s page size, actual media and print settings. For a 2x1 label, all three must be 2x1. If detection fails, use the official label-identification topic.
