Magicard 300 is a direct-to-card ID printer with 300 × 300 dpi output, USB 2.0 and 10/100 Ethernet. Confirm the full device label: 300NEO, 600 and Prima have separate identities. A single-sided unit needs the appropriate upgrade for duplex; encoding features depend on the fitted option. Exact Magicard 300 product

Select the printer and compare the current Windows requirements

Choose Magicard 300 by name in the official portal, then Printer drivers → Windows. The current Windows guidance, checked 2026-10-15, covers the Magicard range except Prima. It separates the ordinary installer from Bare Driver Files for IT deployment; firmware, design applications and encoding options are different components. Current official Windows guidance

Windows download files: 3.1.2.1095

The Magicard 300 Windows tab now lists standard installer 3.1.2.1095 (77.03 MB) and Bare Driver Files 3.1.2.1095 (70.30 MB), both dated 2025-12-02. Choose the ordinary installer for guided setup or the bare files for an IT-managed deployment. These are official listing facts checked 2026-10-15; binary installation and signatures were not tested. Choose Linux files by package type and processor below.

Magicard 300 macOS driver download: 1.5.0

The exact-model portal lists two 1.5.0 installers, each 9.12 MB, with a file-list date of 2026-08-24. Select Printer drivers → macOS. Check Apple menu → About This Mac before choosing:

Mac processorPackage architectureVersion
Intelx86_641.5.0
Apple Siliconarm641.5.0

Official macOS package information and the supported-model list both name Magicard 300. The Mac arm64 package is separate from the Windows ARM64 exclusion above.

The current macOS requirements start at Mojave 10.14.6 and list through Golden Gate 27. The manufacturer limits the video’s CUPS web-interface steps to Tahoe 26 and earlier; follow the guidance for your installed OS. Actual installation results and signatures need separate confirmation.

Magicard 300 Linux driver download: DEB or source

In the exact-model portal, select Printer drivers → Linux. Both 1.5.0 entries have a file-list date of 2026-08-24. The Linux supported-model list names Magicard 300 separately from 300 NEO.

FileListed sizeSelection condition
DEB 1.5.09.01 MBDebian/Ubuntu; amd64 only, not ARM
Source tar.gz 1.5.046.86 MBBuild route for other distributions; success on ARM is unverified

The DEB control metadata identifies magicard-cups-driver, version 1.5.0, architecture amd64. This agrees with the portal’s ARM exclusion. An archive for building does not establish ARM compatibility.

The official Linux installation guide starts with USB disconnected and reconnects it at the final CUPS printer-add step. Build instructions name build-essential, cmake and libcups2-dev for the source route. Review those instructions for your distribution before changing the system.

See current manufacturer Linux guidance. Exact distribution versions, signatures, successful builds and printer operation have not been verified here. If CUPS setup or a PC job fails, compare the selected package and CPU in this Magicard 300 driver download guide.

Install for the real USB or Ethernet connection

  1. Common preparation: record the working queue, card format, connection and pending jobs. Confirm the OS/system type and preserve other users’ settings.
  2. For the standard USB installation, leave USB disconnected until the installer requests it. Guide p.12
  3. Common host check: select the exact printer queue and intended card size. For Ethernet, compare the real device address with the queue port; the user menu provides wired network information. Guide p.9

Compare an internal test card with a computer job

In the user menu, choose Print Test and confirm Yes when ready; this consumes a card and film. Hand Feed Mode determines front input versus hopper. Guide p.9 / Guide p.10 / Device test versus host setup

Common diagnosis: an internal card tests device output, while a computer job also depends on its queue, driver and connection. If only the computer job fails, use this Magicard 300 driver download guide and compare the actual port. Avoid changing a working network address merely to match an example.

Magicard 300 errors: eight checks

Record the complete colon-separated code. The first seven rows use the manual’s firmware-v11.39 error documentation; they do not establish the latest firmware. The final row has a separate current support explanation.
