MC110 scope within the shared manual

ItemCheck
CR80 / 300dpiA colour dye-sublimation/monochrome thermal-transfer card printer. Current MC110 data specifies CR80 PVC/PVC-C, 0.25–1.25mm. The 100-card automatic feeder is rated at 0.76mm; front output holds 30 cards.
Base model / optionsUSB 2.0 and single-sided printing are standard; duplex requires the optional activation configuration. Contact/contactless encoding also depends on fitted options. The shared table excludes MC110 from Ethernet, Wi-Fi, LCD, manual feed and rear output.
Rewritable feature discrepancyCurrent V15 data lists Rewritable, while the shared older manual marks X for MC110 on PDF7. Confirm the actual unit, driver and dedicated rewritable stock with the supplier; do not apply rewrite procedures to ordinary PVC cards.

Observed Windows/Mac files and limits

ItemCheck
Windows / XPSThe actual MC110 Drivers tab titles the ZIP XPS Driver_Product Driver- V1.0.7.0. Its smaller metadata label says v1.0; this listing is not verification of the internal INF or installed version.
macOS / generalA separate macOS-Driver_Product-Driver-English-V1.0.3.zip is listed. Do not relabel it Intel-only without package evidence. The V15 sheet’s Mac 10.9–13.1 range does not certify current macOS 26 installation.
macOS / ARM64MacOS-ARM64-Driver-English-V1.0.3.zip is also actually listed. Distinguish that filename target from installation/printing on a particular OS/CPU. Archive contents, signatures and runtime were not tested.
Firmware / OS scopeMC-DTC-Firmware-1.00.25 belongs to Firmware, not the print-driver list. Do not extend the sheet’s Windows 32/64-bit platform row to every OS combination or Windows ARM. Linux packages were not verified.

MC110 Drivers/User Manuals tabs checked 24 October 2026. The manual’s illustrative installer version 1.0.0.8 is not today’s version. No installers, firmware, licence acceptance or physical printing were performed.

USB installation and fitted options

ItemCheck
USBThe computer connection is USB. Compare the manual’s USB-B socket with the actual data cable. The USB installation branch leaves Network Printer unchecked and connects/powers the printer at the installer prompt.
Restart after legacy-driver removalA detected legacy driver can trigger removal, restart and rerunning setup. Save work and follow the actual wizard. The shared DHCP/static-IP chapters are not MC110 procedures.
Encoding / duplex optionsVisible driver options require the actual module/activation. Use Duplex None for a single-sided configuration and seek configuration-specific supplier support for upgrades/encoding faults.

Four card and ribbon preparation checks

  1. Prepare clean CR80 cards of suitable thickness. Match the green thickness lever to the actual stock and close the cover.
  2. Clip the red ribbon reel into FRONT SIDE of the cartridge and the grey reel into the opposite end as illustrated.
  3. Match cartridge reels to the coloured guides, seat them fully and close the top cover without touching/damaging the head.
  4. Load the front automatic hopper and close its door. Keep within 100 cards at 0.76mm; shared manual-feed/rear-output illustrations do not establish those paths on MC110.

MC110 print-test scope

  1. Common PC check: prepare cards/ribbon, closed covers and USB, then select the actual MC110 target.
  2. Common PC check: send one simple single-sided card from the design application. Do not seek a shared LCD menu or invent a button combination.
  3. Common PC check: record transport, blank output, quality and LEDs. This is a PC-originated job, not a computer-independent device self-test.
ItemCheck
LCD Test PrintPDF37’s Advanced Setting → Test Print is an LCD-menu procedure. MC110 has Display X on PDF7, so that device-menu sequence does not apply.
PC card jobA common comparison of application, driver, USB and card transport; success does not verify optional encoding or duplex.
Tools / AboutTools contains separate cleaning, firmware and option-activation operations. Reading installed information in About is different from updating or resetting anything.

Compare orientation, duplex and colour settings

  1. Match portrait/landscape and actual simplex/duplex activation in Print setting. For single-sided work, check Duplex None.
  2. Compare automatic feed/front output with the real MC110. Shared-driver choices do not add another model’s paths.
  3. Red marks or ribbon tearing can involve high Contrast/Brightness. Compare current Color Settings with the model manual before considering unrelated firmware changes.

MC110 card-printing troubleshooting

Seven LED states and shared indications

These selected colour/steady/intermittent descriptions combine the shared legend with maintenance context. MC110 lacks LCD/Wi-Fi, so no LCD-message location or blue Wi-Fi state is inferred. Do not invent blink counts or unique numeric codes.

ItemCheck
White powerPower-on indication in the shared legend; not proof of USB recognition or app output.
Amber steadyRibbon near end; compare the fitted ribbon and remaining-supply information.
Amber intermittentShared by no cards/no ribbon. The maintenance chapter also uses amber flashing for basic-cleaning alerts; compare supplies and cleaning history.
Green steadyReady indication; also inspect other warnings and the actual application target.
Green intermittentReceiving data or printing.
Red steadyErrors such as card jam/open cover; the maintenance chapter also uses red for overdue cleaning. The colour does not isolate a failed part.
Red intermittentThe shared legend lists service/firmware-related conditions, while maintenance also uses this for advanced-cleaning alerts. Inspect the actual driver diagnosis before changing firmware.

MC110 cleaning path, jams and head care

For basic cleaning, use the driver Tools → Clean printer wizard, remove cards/ribbon, match cover prompts and use the specified CR80 adhesive card. MC110/MC210 follow the automatic-hopper illustration on PDF39, unlike the MC310 manual slot. PDF40 also explicitly routes the MC110 advanced-cleaning T-card through the automatic hopper.

The shared manual recommends cleaning at ribbon changes and describes basic cleaning at 1,000 prints, an overdue warning at 1,200 and advanced cleaning at 5,000. Check actual alerts and current supplier maintenance conditions. The powered wizard and unplugged component cleaning are separate stages.

Power off and unplug for roller/head access cleaning. Follow the roller illustration: water only, air dry, and do not towel-dry with paper/cloth. Let the head cool and use the specified cleaning pen. Avoid improvised acids, solvents, metal tools or another model’s alcohol instructions.

Manual PDF 41 · Manual PDF 42 · Manual PDF 43

For a jam, power off before checking accessible stock/ribbon fragments, thickness and roller seating. Avoid force or dismantling; seek service for recurring/inaccessible jams. The LCD Clear Card Path menu is not an MC110 instruction.

Official evidence, discrepancies and scope

Checked 24 October 2026. The currently linked shared User Manual v1.4 contains 52 PDF pages with inconsistent later printed numbering; references here use PDF pages. Twenty-three relevant whole manual pages and both V15 sheet pages were visually reviewed. Legacy cdn.maticagroup.com documents failed hostname certificate validation; current official Identis links were used.

Besides rewriting, older shared weight, ribbon-yield and cleaning-kit entries differ from current MC110 V15 data. These values are not merged into guarantees. Current listing checks do not verify ZIP contents, signatures, OS/CPU runtime or physical output.
