B432dn official driver route
The official US B432dn page identifies product 62444401. Select your operating system and language before opening a package’s details. For a different regional product number, confirm the corresponding local OKI support listing.

The exact B432dn is named in the official model support and shared B412dn/B432dn/B512dn/ES4132dn/ES5112dn manual. It uses toner and LED electrophotographic printing. USB2.0 and Ethernet are documented; Wi-Fi requires the optional wireless LAN module, whose regional availability can differ. A second tray is also optional.
The manual does not allow wired and wireless LAN at the same time: choose the connection actually in use. B412-specific PostScript limitations do not describe B432dn. The manual’s historical OS list is separate from today’s selected driver results.
OS-specific driver results
| Purpose | Current listing | Limits |
|---|---|---|
| Windows 11, English selected | Recommended package3.2.3; PCL1.1.13; PS1.0.5 | The model page also lists Universal PCL6 1.1.3. Select a print-driver type for your application; this observation does not verify Windows ARM. |
| macOS 26, English selected | PCL1.0.0 and PS1.0.0 | Separate packages were visible. OS listing alone does not establish Intel/Apple Silicon requirements or an installation test. |
| Linux, English selected | CUPS PPD1.1.4 | Vendor-tested list: Ubuntu20.04/18.04/16.04, Debian10, CentOS8. It is not a promise for every current distribution or CPU. |
| Windows tools | Configuration Tool2.0.2; LPR Utility5.3.2 | Device settings/status and network-port tools have different roles from the print driver. Firmware is also separate. |
Choose the actual port and driver type
- Record B432dn, OS/CPU, paper size and USB or network connection. Choose the package from the exact official listing.
- Follow its instructions. For Windows USB, the manual says to connect the computer end when the installation prompts, rather than plugging it in at an arbitrary step. USB and network connectors are different.
- Once the menu map prints normally, select the B432 queue, its actual port and matching paper size in your application; send one short test job.
The operator manual’s old Windows/Mac menu names are not a current Windows11/macOS26 navigation guide. No installer or firmware was downloaded or run during this review.
Menu-map test from the panel
- Load A4 paper. The manual warns that other sizes may truncate this report.
- Use the menu up/down buttons to display PRINT INFO, then press OK.
- Select CONFIGURATION and press OK. A menu map prints.
This tests the device’s printing independently of the PC queue. Keep the report and exact LCD message. A normal report followed by a failed PC job points the next checks toward the connection, queue, port and software.
Ready and Attention are separate indicators
| Indicator | Meaning | Guide |
|---|---|---|
| Ready green: on | Online; ready to receive data. | Check |
| Ready green: flashing | Processing received data. | Check |
| Ready green: off | Offline; cannot receive data. | Check |
| Attention red: on | Warning; printing is still possible. Read the LCD. | Check |
| Attention red: flashing | Error; printing is not possible. Read the LCD. | Check |
| Attention red: off | Normal problem-status indication; read Ready separately. | Check |
Six documented paper-code groups
The LCD code and message identify the next paper-path check. These selected paper codes are not driver-installation codes.
| Code | Meaning / location | Guide |
|---|---|---|
| 372 | Duplex-section jam. The summary says rear cover; detailed code372 guide includes upper-cover/transcription-unit steps. Use its illustrated procedure, not a rear-only shortcut. | Paper path |
| 380 / 381 | Feed-path jam; 381 is below the image drum. | Paper path |
| 382 / 385 | Jam near the fuser. Do not touch the hot fuser. | Paper path |
| 390 | MP-tray feed jam; check the actual paper path. | Paper path |
| 391 / 392 | Tray1 / optional Tray2 feed jam. | Paper path |
| 400 | Paper-size mismatch. Load the correct size; check remaining paper and the documented cover-close step. | Paper path |
Eight symptoms and next checks
| Symptom | Next check | Guide |
|---|---|---|
| Menu map will not print | Read the LCD, power and panel state before changing PC software. | Device test |
| LCD shows a three-digit paper code | Use the location/code table and the matching illustrated clearing guide. | Paper codes |
| Repeated jams or multiple-sheet feed | Compare dry, flat stock, aligned edges, guides and actual tray/type/weight. | Paper feed |
| Ready is off / panel offline | The manual uses ONLINE to return to READY TO PRINT; distinguish the PC offline setting. | Online / port |
| Menu map works; PC job fails | Common PC checks: actual B432 queue, port, paused/failed jobs and chosen PCL/PS driver. | B432dn drivers |
| USB works; network printing fails | Check the wired link or fitted wireless module, current address and selected connection. | Network |
| Optional Tray2 cannot feed | The physical option and the driver’s installed-tray settings must agree. | Installed trays |
| White streaks or blurred characters | Compare the device report, then the official LED-head cleaning route. | LED head |
Use the illustration for the observed paper path
The manual separates cassette, internal/output and duplex procedures. Keep away from the hot fuser and do not dismantle the printer. For internal removal it warns that the green image drum is fragile and must be protected from strong light. If output-jam paper is visible inside the top cover, its guide pulls it inward; forcing it toward the rear can damage the fuser. If removal is unclear or resisted, stop and use support.
After clearing the actual remaining paper, follow the documented top-cover open/close step to clear the alarm. Code372’s overview and detailed illustration differ in scope; read the full code372 topic before handling the duplex unit.
Match tray, size and stock
The feed guide checks damp/curling stock, aligned edges and guides. It routes 121–163g/m² media to the MP tray. Compare driver Source with the loaded tray and the saved tray paper-size/type/weight. A size400 error is not proof that a driver is missing.
An installed option also needs driver settings
The manual’s optional-tray topic sets two installed trays for a fitted second tray and describes automatic option retrieval over TCP/IP. Confirm the hardware first. Do not enable Tray2 only because a shared manual shows it, or copy its old Windows/Mac menu sequence as today’s UI.
Panel online, then the actual USB/LAN route
The device’s ONLINE button changes its online/offline state; it is separate from a PC queue’s paused/offline state. As common PC checks, compare the connected B432 queue, port and failed job. For Ethernet, the manual checks the link and current address. Do not assign a sample static IP blindly or enable both wired and optional wireless LAN together.
Clean the LED head, not the fuser
The LED-head topic turns the printer off with its power button, opens the top cover and lightly wipes the whole LED head with soft tissue or a soft cloth. It prohibits methanol/thinner and warns about the hot fuser and drum light exposure. Follow that illustration; do not polish the drum or substitute a solvent recipe. Persistent defects after a clean device test need support.
