Olivetti d-Copia 5002MF driver download
Open the exact product page, expand Drivers, then select “Driver d-Copia 5002MF - 6002MF”. Manuals contains the matching Operation Guide and a separate fax guide.
Confirm the model and fitted connections
The d-Copia 5002MF is an A3 monochrome office multifunction printer, advertised at 50 ppm. This article registers that model only; the shared product page and guide also cover 6002MF.
Guide 11-24 lists a USB device connector and 10/100/1000 Ethernet. For a PC, use the left-side USB interface, with the machine off before connecting; 2-7 specifies a shielded USB 3.0 compatible cable, at most 5 m, and 2-9 illustrates the socket. A USB drive socket has a different purpose.
Wireless requires fitted hardware. 2-35 describes IB-37/IB-38 or IB-51; 11-6 distinguishes the kits and optional FAX System 12. Wi-Fi Direct requires IB-37/IB-38. Check the actual options before wireless or network-fax setup.
Select software for your actual OS
On 2026-10-14, the product’s Drivers panel links a ZIP named iris2020-olivetti-1.1-rc8_1.zip. Its displayed link does not state a current OS/CPU support matrix. Check package documentation or ask Olivetti about the exact OS and architecture before installation. A filename is not evidence of Windows 11, ARM or current macOS support.
The 2021 guide illustrates Windows 10 installation (2-52) and separates Printing System Driver from scanning components. Its Mac example uses KPDL or KPDL(Auto), with Bonjour enabled when that connection is used; AirPrint printing does not require that installer (2-59). These historical examples do not certify every later OS. Firmware is a separate maintenance task.

Print a report from the panel first
Follow 8-25: Home → […] → System Menu → Notification/Report → Printing Report/List, then select Status Page. It reports settings, memory and installed options. Network Status reports network addresses and protocols; Optional Network Status appears only with a fitted optional interface.
As a general diagnostic comparison, a failed panel print directs attention to the screen, paper and machine; a successful report lets you check the PC job and connection. Use the actual Network Status address when comparing the PC print port. Ask the site administrator if access is restricted.
Eight checks before repeating installation
| Symptom | Next check | Reference |
|---|---|---|
| No response | Check mains power and the power switch. | 10-27 |
| PC USB fails | Check the specified cable and PC device socket, not the USB drive socket. | 2-9 |
| Wireless unavailable | Confirm the installed wireless kit and connection settings. | 2-35 |
| Network report works; PC fails | Common PC check: compare the selected printer and port with the current machine address. | This model’s driver guide |
| Job paused | Resume the paused print job; also check the PC queue as a common check. | 10-27 |
| Account or quota rejection | Confirm the assigned account and permitted print quota with the administrator. | 10-40 · 10-41 |
| Wrong model driver or PDL | Common software check: choose this model and the appropriate printer language; use the matching driver guidance. | This model’s driver guide |
| Paper, memory or disk error | Follow the exact panel message below before resending the whole document. | 10-42 |
Selected panel messages and scoped code
| Symptom | Next check | Reference |
|---|---|---|
| Add paper in cassette # / Multipurpose tray | Load the indicated tray with the requested paper; use a different available paper only if appropriate. | 10-34 |
| Access point was not detected | Check access-point configuration, after confirming a wireless kit is installed. | 10-34 |
| Cannot connect to Authentication Server | Ask the administrator to compare machine/server time, domain, host name and connectivity. | 10-35 |
| Incorrect account ID | The external job has the wrong account ID and is canceled; confirm the assigned ID. | 10-40 |
| Job Accounting restriction exceeded | The account has reached its permitted print count; ask the administrator to review the quota. | 10-41 |
| KPDL error | A PostScript processing error canceled the job. Check the selected driver/PDL as a common software check. | This model’s driver guide · 10-41 |
| Memory is full | Available Continue may print only scanned pages; Cancel/End cancels. Repeated failures need dealer/service review. | 10-42 |
| Paper jam | Keep the machine on and follow the indicated jam location and panel instructions. | 10-42 |
| Hard Disk error · 04 | Insufficient disk space. Select End; ask the administrator to review stored data with its owners. | 10-40 |
| Machine failure | Record the displayed code and contact service. Do not infer its meaning from another model. | 10-41 |
These are selected messages, not a complete code list. Code 04 applies here specifically to Hard Disk error. Stored-job deletion or disk initialization can destroy data and needs administrator review; it is not a routine driver fix.
