The documented workflow sends photos from the Polaroid Hi·Print phone app. Choose iOS or Android under Download app on the product page, or use the official store links below. The quick guide labels USB-C as the charging connection.

Distinguish product text from current app requirements

ItemCheck and action
iPhoneThe current App Store requires iOS 17.0+. The product’s iOS 16.0+ line is not sufficient to guarantee app installation. Version 1.3.29 was observed; requirements may change.
AndroidUse the Polaroid International app on Google Play. Android 7.0+ is product text; a current minimum was not confirmed in the public store view. Check availability for your phone.
PC / MacThe store labels it for iPhone and not verified for macOS. Compatibility metadata does not establish a separate Mac print driver. Follow the documented mobile-app route.

Exact Generation 2 identity and 2x3 cartridge

ItemCheck and action
Generation 2Match the official Gen2 name and declaration’s models 009128/009129. Keep 3x3 and 4x6 guides separate. The declaration date, 5 March 2024, is not an app build date.
Photo mediumUse the Polaroid Hi·Print 2x3 Paper Cartridge. The product specifies 54×86mm prints; a similar size name alone does not establish cartridge compatibility.
Standard packageThe current standalone listing excludes the cartridge and USB-C cable. Check your bundle’s contents and whether a cartridge is actually fitted.

Bluetooth photo transfer and USB-C charging

ItemCheck and action
BluetoothEnable phone Bluetooth and hold printer power for about one second. Blue blinking indicates readiness; check the actual connection in the app.
USB-CPort C is the USB-C Charging Slot in the guide. Successful charging does not verify photo transfer or app connection.
App choiceChoose Hi·Print rather than another Polaroid camera/speaker app. Check the official publisher and use the documented phone workflow.

Five checks for the first photo

  1. Charge the battery and prepare the correct 2x3 cartridge and official app.
  2. Insert the dedicated cartridge through the side door and close it.
  3. Enable phone Bluetooth, hold power for about one second and check the blue readiness blink.
  4. Open Hi·Print, connect and send one selected photo as the app directs. This checks the app workflow rather than a standalone PC test page.
  5. Allow the four in/out passes to finish without pulling the paper. Compare the photo, app message and identified LED.

Official 2x3 guide: English p.1, Korean p.2

Separate normal passes from a paper jam

Four paper passes apply the colors and protective layer. Retraction during this sequence is normal. Avoid touching the ink foil or pulling the sheet during printing.

For an actual jam, the guide calls for off/on and automatic ejection. Seek manufacturer support if ejection fails. For no response, check full charge first; the linked guide treats Reset as a separate recovery action.

Six cause checks

App / OSCompare the exact app and current store requirements. Same-model app downloads
ReadinessSeparate blue readiness blinking from an established app connection. Connection check
CartridgeFor red power blinking, check presence and seating of the dedicated cartridge. Light distinctions
In/out passesDo not pull the sheet during its normal four passes. Paper and jam
Actual jamDistinguish it from normal retraction and follow the guide’s automatic-ejection advice. Ejection advice
No responseCheck charging, the identified LED and app message; no numeric code is assigned here. Lights and response

Three documented light/response conditions

ItemCheck and action
Blue BluetoothBlinking after the one-second power-on press indicates pairing readiness, rather than a numbered fault.
Red powerThe English guide says no cartridge; Korean describes improper seating. Check both presence and seating of the correct cartridge.
No responseCheck full charge first. Identify whether the guide refers to power, Bluetooth or charging, and compare the app message using the 2x3 instructions.

Official evidence and verification date

Checked 28 October 2026 using both whole pages of the current USB-C 2x3 multilingual guide and the whole Gen2 declaration. Product/store iOS differences are explicit. App installation, pairing, reset, firmware updates and physical printing were not performed.
