Hi-Print 4x6 official app and product route
The 4x6 Quick Start Guide specifies the Polaroid Hi-Print mobile app. Start with its official iPhone/Android route when looking for this model’s printing software; this guide does not supply a Windows, Mac or Linux driver installer.
Exact Hi-Print 4x6 model and supplies
This is the desktop Hi-Print 4x6 photo printer, using dye-diffusion thermal transfer and the matching 4x6 paper cartridge. Keep it distinct from Hi-Print 2x3, 3x3 and Polaroid Lab. The standalone product page says a cartridge is not included; starter-set contents are separate.
Choose the official mobile app
| Platform | Official route and conditions |
|---|---|
| iPhone / iOS | Officially linked App Store app; verify the store’s current device and OS requirements. |
| Android | Officially linked Google Play app; use Polaroid Hi-Print, not an unrelated photo-print app. |
The product confirms iPhone and Android support; the manufacturer’s app-help page supplies these exact store links. Current minimum OS, app version, CPU compatibility and actual installation were not tested. Generic computer-driver packages, scan software and firmware are different roles.
One-second power, bottom ID and app connection
Hold power for one second. Use phone Bluetooth settings to select the printer whose ID matches the bottom label, then confirm connection in Hi-Print. Keep that unique ID private. The English and Korean guide panels describe steady white at startup; do not copy another Hi-Print model’s blue-light or reset sequence.

Adapter and paper travel
Use the supplied adapter on a flat surface. Route its cord clear of the paper’s travel. The parts diagram marks a power connection; it does not establish a PC USB printing path.
Matching cartridge, glossy face up and 20-sheet limit
Use the 4x6 cartridge and separate paper tray. Seat the cartridge until it clicks and close its door. Load no more than 20 sheets with the glossy face upward; fit and close the tray as illustrated. Match the package to 4x6 rather than another Hi-Print size.
Four normal passes: allow clearance
Allow 5 cm at the sides and 20 cm behind the printer. Four passes with paper moving in and out are normal image formation. Keep the route clear and let printing finish without pulling the sheet or touching ink foil.
Compare one intended photo from the app
After pairing and loading, open the official app and send one intended photo. Compare the app’s connection result, the selected printer and completed print. This is a common host/device comparison; the quick guide supplies no separate hidden-button test report.
Hi-Print 4x6 not-printing checks
Separate cartridge, paper travel and actual app connection first.
Three documented states and actions
| State or action | Meaning and first check |
|---|---|
| Steady white after startup | English/Korean setup text: ready for phone pairing, not proof a photo has finished. |
| Power LED blinking red | English/Korean help: check for a missing cartridge. |
| Paper makes four passes | Normal printing motion; keep hands and obstacles away. |
Eight symptom checks
| Situation | Check | Next step |
|---|---|---|
| Looking for printing software | Use this model’s official mobile-app route. | Next check → |
| App cannot reach the selected printer | Common check: compare the bottom ID and the actual app connection. | Next check → |
| No response after power-on | Check the supplied adapter and actual power connection. | Next check → |
| Red blinking power light | Check cartridge insertion against the exact guide. | Next check → |
| Blank or missing media | Compare 4x6 stock, loading face, tray and sheet count. | Next check → |
| Paper moves back and forth | Allow the normal four passes and the specified clearance. | Next check → |
| Paper jam | Use documented restart/ejection and the support escalation. | Next check → |
| Still not printing | Check seating and cooling, then contact support if unresolved. | Next check → |
Jams, no printing and cooling
For a jam, the quick guide says to turn the printer off and on for automatic ejection; contact support if it does not eject. For no printing, it also calls for checking cartridge seating and letting the unit cool. Do not force paper out or invent a reset/cleaning command.
Official evidence and verification scope
Verified 20 October 2026: exact product, paper, official app links and the two-page multilingual 4x6 quick guide. Full-page layouts and enlarged English/Korean/parts panels were viewed. Some other-language panels differ on light colour, ID location and the red-light meaning; this article follows the English/Korean panels. No numeric error code, current app minimum, installer, firmware or physical-device test is claimed.
