Official LX610 downloads

Choose the LX610 entry and your actual computer. Read the provider terms yourself; trial software is not proof of licensed cutting capability.

LX610 is a colour inkjet label printer with a digital shape cutter and a separate output cutter. The documented PC connection is USB 2.0. Parts / USB, pp.13–14,134

Software and CPU scope

PartScope
PCSupport lists v2.3.1 / 14.1 MB, 25 Apr 2022, Windows 8/10/11, Intel or AMD only; Snapdragon ARM is explicitly excluded.
MacFull installer: 78.1 MB, 10 Dec 2024, macOS 11–26 Tahoe. These are listing conditions, not an installation or CPU test.
DesignPTCreate Pro trial and licence are separate choices. The product page says Mac users need Pro for custom shapes; PC Standard covers basic shapes.
Other rolesFirmware and paid design software are separate from the print driver. No Linux, mobile or wireless support is established here.

USB and device indicators

Keep the rear paper loop clear of USB/power cables; the manual requests 6 inches of rear clearance. The Power lamp means ready; the Ink lamp indicates 10% or less remaining. These indicators are not numeric error codes. pp.6,12

Two media modes and design limits

MediaCheck
ChipUse qualified Primera digital-cut stock with its recognised smart chip. PrintHub should show Digital Die-Cut Media and remaining percentage. A reused/transplanted chip is not a supported substitute.
Pre-cutThe shape already exists. Use suitable pre-die-cut stock; the digital shape cutter is not used. Compare the official media FAQ before ordering.

LX610 media FAQ

Design limit note: the current product advertises 4.1 inches for digital cutting, while the 2022 manual uses 4.25 inches. Confirm the current media/design specification rather than interchanging those numbers.

LX610 print and cut checks

Compare a small job

Common controlled check: preserve queued jobs and label files, then compare one known design with the intended media. Separate failure to print from failure to cut; there is no self-test-button procedure claimed here.

Five selected message groups

Message groupDistinction
XY Cutter StallIdentify the shape-cut mechanism; retain the exact message for model-specific support.
Cutter Stall (Output)This names the output cutter, a different mechanism.
Cartridge errorsRecord the actual missing, invalid or data-error wording.
Stock IDStock not recognised: compare the stock and chip with the media guide.
Paper OutCheck the real stock supply and the displayed message.

Printing works but cutting fails

If printing works but cutting does not, the official FAQ checks knife seating, PTCreate restart, media/chip errors and file setup. Its Pro trial allows design/print but disables saving and cutting; distinguish it from a licensed copy. Do not diagnose every no-cut job as a print-driver fault.

LX610 no-cut FAQ

Backing paper is cut through

Work on a copy of the design. The liner FAQ checks duplicate cut paths, excess pressure, a worn blade and a grooved wear strip. Inspect the cut preview before changing pressure; use the exact service procedure for blades and wear parts.
