Operating-system and download checks

The Korean catalog lists these systems for checking: The actual European B-FP3D results list TPCL Windows Driver 2024.2 M-1.E with Windows 10/11 and Server 2012/2012 R2/2016/2019, and B-FP3D under Related to. SAP device types, utilities and SDKs are not this Windows driver. No macOS/Linux or extra Server compatibility is inferred. This is a European English path: check actual region, suffix and language/font conditions. Legacy availability is not security support.. Select your exact operating system and version on the official page. If your version is not offered, do not install a package intended for a different system.

Connection and installation

  1. Check full suffix, OS/CPU/rights, charged specified battery and approved direct-thermal media. Preserve jobs/queues/stock/barcode/network settings; coordinate shared-device changes. Read actual terms personally. No automatic firmware update, reset, driver redistribution or security weakening.
  2. Windows USB: obtain the compatible TPCL package from the official model results, extract the ZIP and follow its actual installation/connection prompts. The official driver manual's preparation and Plug-and-Play sections and model Owner's Manual page 16 describe PC/printer power and USB data-cable connection. Old installer screenshots are not guaranteed to match this file. Choose exact B-FP3D 203 dpi and real USB port; match label dimensions, gap/black-mark sensor and batch/peel-off to the fitted model/media, then test a small job.
  3. WLAN GS40/GH40 only: check the suffix and approved access point/security/address configuration with the administrator or Toshiba representative. Keep within radio coverage and away from metal obstacles/interference. Add the real printer IP/hostname to the compatible driver queue. The driver manual's Standard TCP/IP Port procedure uses printer properties / Ports / Add Port / Standard TCP/IP Port, then actual address and appropriate protocol settings. This is WLAN, not a claimed Ethernet socket. No copied example IP, invented SSID menu or encryption disabling.
  4. Bluetooth GS30/GH30: the hardware manual calls for a host within 3 m, correct printer address and issue mode. Use a genuinely compatible host/app and model-specific instructions; do not promise that the European TPCL package prints through every Bluetooth/virtual-COM setup. Current generic driver documentation contains a Bluetooth limitation. Ask Toshiba for the exact supported configuration when needed.

Troubleshooting

The exact model guide pages 19-21 covers NO PAPER (correct new roll, then PAUSE), COVER OPEN (close cover), PAPER JAM (safe media correction and matching gap/black-mark stock before PAUSE), LOW BATTERY (power off and use a charged specified pack), and excess head temperature (stop and let it recover). USB: power, actual port/issue mode and concurrent radio communication. WLAN: range, obstacles, address/channel/issue mode. Bluetooth: 3 m range and correct address/mode, plus actual host-driver compatibility. Let the head cool before approved maintenance; no sharp tools, thinner or benzene. Persistent COMMS/HEAD errors need power-off and official service, not disassembly, factory reset or mass queue deletion.
