Windows and Mac files
| Check | Evidence and next check |
|---|---|
| Windows | PRO-310 Printer Driver 4.60c · 8 Jul 2026 · 27.55 MB. The listing distinguishes Windows 11, 32/64-bit Windows 10/8.1/7 SP1 and selected Server versions. It does not establish Windows ARM support. |
| Mac | PRO-310 CUPS 30.10.1.0 · 14 Sep 2026 · 24.92 MB. Compare your actual macOS version with the current detail page, rather than relying on the older manual’s 11–14 table. The filename alone does not certify Intel or Apple Silicon support. |
| Apps / other OS | The product separately lists AirPrint, Mopria and Professional Print & Layout. Match the printing workflow to the device; an application is distinct from a driver or firmware. A Linux package and installation on every CPU were not verified. |
PRO-310 model and region
PRO-310 is an A3+ photo printer with a ten-colour pigment ink system. Use its own manual rather than PRO-300/PRO-1100 or multifunction-printer instructions. Connection routes include USB 2.0, wired LAN, Wi-Fi and Wireless Direct.
Check the sales region before choosing a Wi-Fi band. The online manual makes 2.4/5 GHz country-dependent; the Asia product table distinguishes its general 2.4 GHz specification from dual-band Taiwan models. Confirm the regional unit’s specification.
Check the connection path
| Check | Evidence and next check |
|---|---|
| USB | As a common PC check, select the actual USB-connected PRO-310 and compare it with any old network or other-model queue. |
| Wired LAN | The manual specifies 10/100 Mbps Ethernet. Wired LAN cannot operate simultaneously with Wi-Fi or Wireless Direct. |
| Wi-Fi | Use the regional band specification. As a common PC check, compare the selected printer and network before changing router settings. |
| Wireless Direct | Distinguish direct-to-printer Wi-Fi from a router connection. Switching to Wireless Direct can disconnect the device from its router and move Internet traffic to mobile data. |
Use top feed for the nozzle check
For blur or banding, compare a printer-generated nozzle pattern with the photo job from the computer. These steps summarize the exact PRO-310 panel procedure.
- Put one A4 or Letter plain sheet in the top feed and register its size and Plain paper. The manual feed tray cannot be used for this check.
- Extend the output tray and support, then choose HOME → Maintenance → Nozzle Check → Yes.
- Inspect missing lines and horizontal streaks, including the dark-grey band for colourless CO ink. When both patterns are clear, finish with All A → OK.
- If defects appear, use Also B and the manual’s ink-group cleaning prompts, then recheck. After two ineffective cleanings, consult the documented next step or support. Do not interrupt cleaning.
Separate paper-feed causes
| Check | Evidence and next check |
|---|---|
| Top feed | Use top feed for plain paper and postcards. Respect the media-specific loading limit, align stacked sheets, and check the feed cover and selected paper source. |
| Manual feed | Load one supported sheet of at least 8×10 inches in portrait orientation with the print side facing you. Do not use plain paper or postcards here. Avoid tight guides and wait for the previous print to finish. |
| Media settings | Match the loaded size/type, printer registration and job settings. Follow media-specific handling: rolling SG-201 semi-gloss paper to flatten it can crack its surface. |
| Feed fault | Check curl, thickness and source before cleaning. Roller cleaning causes wear; use the official procedure only when needed. Follow the correct top-feed/manual-feed/internal jam branch. Switch off and unplug before checking internal foreign objects. |
Support codes 1000 and 2115
| Check | Evidence and next check |
|---|---|
| 1000 | Top feed is empty or incorrectly loaded. Correct the loading, guides and feed cover, then press the printer’s OK button. This code concerns top feed. |
| 2115 | Job settings differ from the registered manual-feed paper information. Review the options after Next. Cancel and correct the job settings, or replace the paper and register it accurately. Continuing on loaded paper keeps the job’s settings. |
BG517, S013, NR014 and ER021 identify manual topics. They are not device support codes or blink-count mappings.
