COLOP e-mark official driver download
This guide covers the original e-mark. Check whether your model name includes create or go. A shared hardware manual does not extend the original e-mark Windows driver to other models.

The official download form requests the device SSID, email and terms. The owner should use the official procedure with their own device details.
The e-mark is a battery-powered CMY inkjet marking device. It prints while moved by hand over absorbent surfaces such as paper/cardboard. Check connection, selected imprint, surface and head condition separately.
Mobile app, Windows app and print driver
| Tool | Role |
|---|---|
| Mobile app | The Android/iOS app designs imprints and sends them over Wi-Fi. It is separate from a Windows print driver. |
| Windows app | The Windows Desktop Version designs in the app and transfers by Wi-Fi or USB. The listing checked for this guide displays V: 5.0.1. |
| Windows driver | Send from programs with print support, such as Word or Paint, to the connected e-mark. The checked listing displays V: 1.01 for the original e-mark. Do not apply it to create or go. |
Listing checked 25 October 2026. A displayed version does not verify package contents/signature, supported Windows generations or CPU requirements. Check current official requirements before installing. macOS/Linux print-driver compatibility was not established.
First Wi-Fi setup, then check USB switching
The current official software page instructs first-time users to connect over Wi-Fi with the mobile or Windows app, complete the automatically prompted firmware update, then switch to USB. Follow the actual device/app instructions rather than treating a first USB connection as complete setup.
The official page describes either Wi-Fi or USB: rear-right blue means Wi-Fi and pink means USB. It notes that LAN connections can affect Wi-Fi selection in the Windows app; this is not a universal instruction to disable every network. USB connects the device micro-USB port to the PC.
Check printer, size and sending options in Word
| Setting | Check |
|---|---|
| Select printer | In Word, choose COLOP e-mark under File → Print, then open Printer Properties. Selecting another printer can change the available size list. |
| Size / repeat | The driver guide describes 14 predefined imprint sizes and Multi-Print repetition/gap settings. Match your material and desired dimensions; its sample values are not universal defaults. |
| Quality / layout | Separate colour-profile/individual-colour adjustment from Portrait/Landscape. Compare the design dimensions/orientation with the driver preview. |
| Preview / save | Print directly without preview skips the additional sending dialog. The guide says the driver-sent imprint is removed at power-off unless Save imprint on e-mark is selected. Check the current UI and intended persistence. |
The driver guide is a seven-page document with a 2020 copyright. Its body is on PDF pp.4–7 although the contents labels those sections pp.6–9. Its older Windows screenshots do not establish current OS support.

Move by hand after sending the imprint
- Power on while docked and wait for the rear-left green ready indication.
- Lift level from the dock. Automatic head cleaning can release a little ink: keep it away from face, skin and clothing, and do not immediately rotate the device.
- Place on a flat absorbent surface such as paper/cardboard and align the position lugs with the printing area.
- Move slowly in a straight line, left-to-right or right-to-left. Movement starts printing; wait for the end-position signal.
- Return to the dock immediately afterward. Movement without the intended imprint is not a successful host-driver print test.
Keep it docked even when switched off
Always return to the dock immediately after use and keep it there for storage. After one minute out of the dock while on, the device can sound/flash red. Powering off silences the warning but does not prevent drying; the manual recommends docking first, then switching off.
Lifting starts automatic cleaning. Returning immediately without printing can make the pad stick; the manual calls for an imprint on a suitable surface before redocking. Avoid repeated lift-and-return cycles just to check a connection. For extended storage, follow the monthly use/cleaning/test-imprint and charging guidance.

When COLOP e-mark will not print
Eight indicator rows: read colour and position together
| Position / light | Meaning / next check |
|---|---|
| Rear-right blue | Blue at LED 7 indicates Wi-Fi connection. Distinguish it from storage-selection colours on the sides. |
| Rear-right pink | Pink at LED 7 indicates USB connection. Pink at an arbitrary position does not mean USB. |
| Rear-right blue flashing | Flashing with sounds can mark a newly established connection; continuous flashing marks image transfer, with a long signal at completion. |
| Front / side red flashing | LEDs 4A/4B/8/9 indicate an absent or incorrectly inserted cartridge. This differs from the rear battery indication. |
| Front / side yellow flashing | Yellow flashing at these positions indicates the wrong cartridge. Check the correct COLOP cartridge and fitting against the manual. |
| All red double flash / tone | This warns of cartridge drying: return to the dock immediately. If the warning persists while docked, check seating/contact. |
| Side pink / orange / blue | These colours at LEDs 2/3/5/6/8/9 identify a selected stored imprint. They are distinct from the connection indication at LED 7. |
| Rear-left red | Red at LED 1 means the battery is very low and needs charging. Distinguish it from the front/side cartridge lights; the app battery-icon ranges differ from the device LED ranges. |
In the position diagram on p.34, LED 1 is rear-left and LED 7 rear-right. Side green readiness and movement indicators through the window are separate. These are selected states, not numeric error codes.

Head care: one wipe between two automatic cycles
This is the p.39 procedure for declining quality or excessive ink on the head. It runs cleaning from the app; do not substitute a generic unplugged laser-printer cleaning recipe.
- Place the e-mark on paper that can be discarded after cleaning.
- Run the first automatic cycle with Start quick cleaning in app settings.
- Slide out the head wiper beneath the dock; a lint-free cloth moistened with distilled water is the documented alternative.
- Following the manual diagram, carefully wipe the head once, from back to front.
- Place the device back on paper.
- Run Start quick cleaning again in the app.
- Print a test imprint on a suitable surface, inspect quality and return to the dock. Do not wipe again after the second automatic cycle.
The manual warns that wiping after the second automatic cycle dries the head. Do not add alcohol or vigorous scrubbing; use its diagrams for orientation/contact.

Separate surface, movement and drying
For smears on smooth plastic/glass, check surface suitability. Thin gaps, pale output or missing areas can involve drying, cartridge contact, empty ink or movement speed. Use a flat base and slow straight movement, distinguishing exhausted ink from a head needing care. For automatic-cleaning spots, review the level lift/brief hold before placing on the print surface.

Next checks by cause and the same-model driver
| Symptom | Next check |
|---|---|
| No Wi-Fi transfer | Check My e-marks, mobile Wi-Fi settings and the selected unit. Another host may already be connected or the password may be wrong. Check existing connections and your own settings before considering a reset. |
| Slow transfer | For a weak signal, the manual places the mobile device alongside the e-mark. Do not power off while transfer/storage is completing. |
| PC job fails | Common host check: match the unit, print destination and connection mode, and distinguish the same-model e-mark driver from the app. Resolve cartridge/drying indications on the device too. |
| Ready but no imprint | The head may have dried after too long outside the dock. Follow the model cleaning sequence and docking guidance. |
| Gaps / pale / skewed | Distinguish drying, uneven surface, cartridge contact, exhausted ink and excessive movement speed; these do not all call for reinstallation. |
| Smears on smooth stock | Smooth plastic and glass are examples of unsuitable surfaces in the manual. Use an absorbent surface. |
| Red / tone while docked | Check correct seating/contact. If it does not charge and the battery or adapter may be defective, contact dealer support. |
| On but no lights | Possible causes include off, empty battery, covered contacts or sleep. Lifting from the dock wakes sleep; also follow automatic-cleaning, suitable test-imprint and immediate-redocking guidance. |
