Official driver downloads
Choose 1330 Driver for Windows on the official model page. The global listing shows 1xxx driver 6.12.0. The DASCOM Europe Download Center lists 6.15 under Flatbed → 1330.
Both entries list Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10 and 11, plus Windows Server 2008–2016, 2019 and 2022, for 32-bit and 64-bit Windows. The listings do not specify Windows on ARM. Choose the print driver entry, separate from the configuration tool and firmware.
The manual’s automatic USB installation finds the model and port when the printer is connected and on. If adding it manually, select Tally Dascom 1330 and the port you are using.

The standard 1330 has USB 2.0. DASCOM Europe also lists separate versions with USB plus parallel, serial or Ethernet. Use the label and rear connectors to identify your version. Switch off the printer and computer before attaching the data cable.
Load sheets or fanfold forms
- Cut sheets. Adjust the front guide and set the paper lever to cut-sheet mode. Insert one sheet from the front. If automatic sheet loading is disabled, press Load/Eject to bring it to the first print position. Cut-sheet diagram
- Fanfold forms. With the printer off, select tractor feed and fit the holes onto the pins on both rear tractors. The 1330 handles continuous forms up to 10 inches wide. Keep the form flat, lock the tractors, turn the printer on, and press Load/Eject. Fanfold loading diagram
For multipart forms, use the right-side head gap lever to match the form thickness. Head gap and paper thickness table
Run the printer self-test
- The manual recommends loading 10-inch fanfold before this test. Switch off the printer.
- Hold only Online while turning the printer on to print versions, settings and the self-test pattern. Holding LF/FF at startup enters Hex Dump mode. Turn the printer off to exit that mode.
- If the self-test prints and only computer jobs fail, check the fitted port and connection, then check that the 1330 driver is selected.
Paper light and feed alarms
When Power/Paper Out flashes, first check for paper in the selected feed path. After loading, the Online light indicates that the printer is ready to receive host data.
- Alarm when moving the feed lever. Moving it while paper remains in the printer triggers an alarm. When switching from fanfold to cut sheets, take the printer offline with Online, then press Load/Eject to retract the forms before changing the lever.
- Fanfold skews or jams. Switch the printer off and check that the holes sit on both sets of tractor pins and the form lies flat. Check the head gap for that paper thickness.
- Cut sheets exit at the back. A lit Front Exit indicator means front exit. When it is off, the printer is set to eject cut sheets at the rear.
