Official mini Link+ apps and manuals
Open official FUJIFILM mini Link+ resourcesThe documented printing route uses the instax mini Link phone app. Select the exact Link+ model and compare the app and connection conditions below.
Official apps and current OS
| Check | What to check |
|---|---|
| Android | instax mini Link · Google Play leads to FUJIFILM Corporation’s printer app. Its current description says Android 12 or later, differing from Android 10 in the older manual. Check availability for the actual device. |
| iPhone | instax mini Link · App Store has conflicting current information: the description says iOS 17+, while Compatibility says iOS 16+. The manual also says 16; this does not settle current iOS 16 support. Check the device’s store conditions. |
| PC route | Official computer-driver selector offers Link WIDE and Link WIDE 2. Do not select those files for mini Link+. USB-C charging and another Link model’s package do not establish this model’s computer-printing support. |
Check the mini Link+ model
| Check | What to check |
|---|---|
| Model / film | The manual identifies FI046W. Distinguish it from mini Link 3. It uses instax mini film with a 62 × 46 mm image area. |
| Link / power | Printing uses Bluetooth 5.1; USB-C is documented for charging. Charging takes about 1.5–2 hours depending on conditions. For PC charging, connect directly rather than through a hub/keyboard and check PC sleep. |
| Print modes | Distinguish standard 800 × 600 pixels / 318 dpi from Design Print’s 1600 × 600 / 635 × 318 dpi. The manual requires an input image exceeding 1600 × 1200 pixels for Design Print. |
Connect the correct printer in the app
- Check charging before first use. Hold Power for about one second and open instax mini Link. Read the actual terms, privacy and permission requests and decide the appropriate access.
- Select mini Link+ on the printer-selection screen. Do not substitute mini Link 3. Compare the phone’s Bluetooth and app connection permission with the actual prompts.
- If several devices appear, match the device name on the printer’s underside. For an already paired unit, use Connect printer at the top of the app and select that device.
Choose a photo and print
- After connecting, choose Simple Print or an eligible Design Print image from the phone’s photos. Review cropping, rotation and brightness.
- Tap the print icon or swipe upward to send. Check the selected copy count during transfer and the remaining film shown in the app.
- Keep the ejection slot clear. Once the film has ejected and the sound stops, hold its edge to remove it. Do not shake, bend or fold the fresh print.
Film and white-print checks
Align instax mini film with the yellow marks and close the door as directed; the black protective cover ejects automatically. That cover is not a printed photo.
Opening the door while film remains exposes it and can produce white prints. Use the app’s remaining-film display instead of opening the door to check. For persistent ejection trouble, follow the exact manual and service guidance.
Indicators by colour and context
| Check | What to check |
|---|---|
| Green flash | It indicates charging. Distinguish it from the Function-button battery-level flash count below. |
| Charge end | With power on, steady green means complete. With power off, no light can mean not charging or complete; darkness alone is not a fault diagnosis. |
| Battery key | After pressing Function while powered on, one/two/three green flashes mean low/middle/high battery. |
| Yellow solid | With shutdown after three seconds, it means cannot charge or low battery. Include charging and power conditions in the check. |
| Yellow blink | It indicates a film-ejection error. Do not treat it as the same condition as an app connection failure. |
| Blue blink | It indicates a firmware update in progress. |
| White pulse | It indicates reprinting. The manual says powering off removes the last image retained for the printer’s reprint function. |
Pinterest import has ended
FUJIFILM’s notice ends direct import of Pinterest-saved images with the October 2026 app update, including mini Link+. It distinguishes this from importing and printing photos stored on the phone, which remain available. A missing Pinterest menu alone is not a reason to replace a printer driver.
