Official 5.13.0 details and prerequisites

The listed file is MimakiDriver-v5.13.0-64bit.exe. The listing does not establish ARM64 runtime, current macOS/Linux support or installation success.

Before installing on Windows 11

Mimaki’s prerequisite for this version asks for Memory integrity to be turned off. This affects Windows kernel protection. Confirm compatible-driver options and security policy with Mimaki or the PC administrator before installation; do not treat disabling it as a routine printing fix.

Microsoft guidance on drivers and Memory integrity

Manual pp.38–40 separate driver, RIP/license, profiles and printer registration. Its registration example uses CJV200-160; choose the actual CJV200-130, fitted ink set and output port rather than copying the example.

Confirm the cartridge-model CJV200-130

This is an eco-solvent inkjet print-and-cut model. Official maximum print width is 1,360mm and maximum media width is 1,370mm. The manual cover names CJV200-75/130/160. This guide addresses the cartridge model; JV print-only and CJV200-160B bottle-model configurations need their own instructions. Match ink and supply options to the installed unit.

Check 1000Mbps LAN and USB transfer limits

ItemCheck and action
EthernetUse Cat6/6A and a 1000BASE-T PC/switch. The manual requires the same LAN and excludes a connection through a router. Check Local guidance → LAN Status for 1000Mbps; 100Mbps, 10Mbps or No Connect cannot print.
USB 2.0Use a RIP that supports USB. Slow transfer can pause the carriage at either end; do not assume a driver fault. Keep the cable connected during transfer.

A steady green LAN-connector light indicates 1000BASE-T; orange alone is not evidence of 1000Mbps. Safely remove storage from the USB-connected PC: the manual identifies unsafe removal as a possible cause of 201 Command Error.

Run the nozzle test from LOCAL

First check head-height setup and loaded media. Follow the manual’s explicit requirement of at least 500mm wide media. Its separate warning that stock below 300mm cannot show the whole pattern does not establish a 300mm recommendation.

  1. In LOCAL, select TEST PRINT/CLEANING → Test Print and press ENTER.
  2. Choose Scan Dir. or Feed Dir. and press ENTER to print.
  3. Compare the pattern for missing or deflected lines.

Choose cleaning from the test result

ItemCheck and action
SoftFor deflected/bent lines.
NormalFor missing lines/nozzle clogging.
HardFor ejection failures unresolved by Soft and Normal.

Select the method under LOCAL → TEST PRINT/CLEANING → Cleaning, then check a fresh test pattern. If defects persist, follow the manual’s maintenance references or contact service.

Check ink status: p.75 gives a general block on cleaning at Ink Near End/Ink End, while p.177 allows a UISS-specific Ink End exception. Match the installed ink supply and device message; do not bypass an ink error.

CJV200-130 cause checks when printing fails

ItemCheck and action
Device messageFor a red status lamp, read the display and matching message.
LAN speedCheck 1000Mbps and the actual cable/switch.
USB/RIP portCheck RIP USB support and the selected output port.
DriverFor 20A or a host driver-version issue, compare this model’s driver and the OS/security prerequisites.
Media and coversCheck loaded media, covers and clamp state.
Quality / profileCompare the device nozzle pattern separately from RIP media/ink profiles.

Host-setting comparisons are common diagnostics. Check active maintenance and pending jobs before taking action.

Seven selected warning/error messages

ItemCheck and action
COVER OPENClose the cover; open covers prevent printing/automatic maintenance.
Data RemainRIP data remains. Review the job before choosing the documented REMOTE print or clear-and-cancel path.
Temporary SuspensionPrinting is paused; review the job before resuming or cancelling.
201 Command ErrorNon-RIP or faulty received data. Review/clear the affected job, resend and check compatible cables/connections.
202 Parameter ErrorReceived RIP data problem; use the same data/connection checks as 201.
206 Print Mode ErrorRIP parameters prevent printing; correct the output parameters/profile.
20A Driver VersionMimaki driver is too old. Review this model’s current driver route and its Windows 11 caveat.

Contact the dealer/service office if errors persist or return. Any further power action for 201/202 must follow the full shutdown procedure on manual p.34; this guide does not prescribe a forced power cut.
