Find PP310 official SDKs and distinguish print drivers. Check USB/Bluetooth, paper loading, FEED self-test versus DUMP, five display warnings and eight printing causes.
Official PP310 driver / SDK downloads
Use Downloads on the exact PP310 product page to distinguish its user guide and SDK. An application SDK and a print driver have different roles.

Battery-powered direct-thermal receipts and labels
The official NLS-PP310 is a portable direct-thermal model. Distinguish it from the ribbon-capable LP410; 80mm maximum stock width and 72mm print width are different measurements.
Distinguish SDK listings from installation requirements
| Item | Check |
|---|---|
| SDK | Both software downloads on the product page point to the same Android(Newland) V2.2.7.9 ZIP. The separate PP310 SDK article links iOS, Android, Linux and Windows resources. These are not two different print drivers. |
| PC print queue | SDKs support application integration. An ordinary PP310 desktop print-queue installer was not identified on the checked public pages. Confirm the component required by your POS/business app; do not substitute LP410 files. |
| OS / CPU | The product/2022 datasheet platform list and 2024 SDK links do not specify current OS versions or CPU targets. Windows 11, ARM and Apple Silicon support remains unverified, as do package contents, signatures and installation. |

USB data cable and Bluetooth application
| Item | Check |
|---|---|
| USB | Manual p22 specifies USB 2.0 and a Mini USB 10P socket. Use the illustrated PP310 communication cable; charging alone does not prove data transfer or suitability of an arbitrary mini-USB cable. |
| Bluetooth | Product/datasheet list Bluetooth 4.0. Common check: confirm that the actual app supports PP310 and its Bluetooth printing route; no universal phone compatibility or guessed pairing PIN is established. |
| Interface scope | The specifications identify USB and Bluetooth. The p14 Power/Serial/USB illustration caption alone does not establish a separate RS-232 port. Ethernet, Wi-Fi and AirPrint were not established by these sources. |

Paper loading, width and sensor requirements
- Open the top cover through its release button. Avoid the hot head and tear bar.
- Follow the winding label inside the compartment and match the guide position to the stock. Keep the roll tightly wound and level.
- Close the cover until it snaps into place; also check stock type, width and sensing requirements below.
Guide slots are A=80±0.5mm, B=60±0.5mm and C=44±0.5mm. The stock table distinguishes continuous/marked paper from labels, specifying labels at 80±0.5mm. Other widths also have sensor-position requirements; guides alone do not establish compatibility.

FEED self-test and separate DUMP mode
- Load suitable stock and close the cover.
- With a charged battery available, press FEED.
- While pressing FEED, use the power button to turn the printer on for its self-test page. Keep subsequent FEED actions separate from DUMP entry.
The manual describes DUMP entry as FEED “1s after printing” the test. This is separate from the self-test, and is not an instruction to hold FEED for one second. For Hexadecimal Dump, the documented exits are off/on or three FEED presses.
Compare device output with application output
- Common comparison: compare the printer self-test with app output. If the device test also fails, check battery, paper and display warnings first.
- Common check: verify the app’s PP310 target, USB/Bluetooth path and page size. ESC/POS/CPCL support does not automatically translate every app’s output.
- Common check: if app/SDK components are required, use this model’s official downloads and verify platform requirements. Do not send arbitrary commands or firmware.
Check display warnings against printing symptoms
Five documented display warnings
These are warning descriptions from the p23 OLED alarm table, rather than invented numeric codes. Display language/presentation may differ.
| Item | Check |
|---|---|
| Paper end | Load a new roll; also check paper end when printing stops abruptly. |
| Paper cabinet is not closed | Check that the top cover is closed. |
| Power is low | Charge or use the correct replacement battery. |
| Print head is abnormal | The manual directs waiting for the head temperature to fall; seek support if persistent. |
| Wrong paper type | Check suitable marked/label stock and sensing requirements; contact the manufacturer if persistent. |
Eight cause checks and this model’s downloads
| Item | Check |
|---|---|
| App output only | Common check: compare the app target/components with the device test. Check details |
| Display off / no operation | Check battery charge/seating; board faults require support. Check details |
| No feed / sudden stop | Check the paper path/jam or an exhausted roll. Check details |
| Faint / stained output | Check loading, suitable direct-thermal stock and head/roller contamination. Check details |
| Missing vertical content | If head/roller cleaning does not resolve it, seek head-error support. Check details |
| Wrong-stock warning | Check stock type and fitted sensor requirements as well as guides. Check details |
| Charges but no data | Common check: confirm the correct data cable and app connection route. Check details |
| Hex / ASCII dump output | Check whether the post-test DUMP mode was entered. Check details |
Remove the battery and cool before cleaning
The manual requires battery removal before maintenance. Fully cool the head, wipe head/platen with wrung-out alcohol cotton, and wait for evaporation before closure. Clean sensors with a wrung-out soft alcohol cloth while the battery is removed; let them dry. Avoid gasoline/acetone.
For feed jams, the manual directs opening the cover and inspecting the paper path/jammed paper. Avoid the tear bar/head; internal repair belongs with a manufacturer-certified technician.

Official evidence and verification scope
Checked 24 October 2026. Seventeen complete pages of the 27-page manual and all three datasheet pages were visually reviewed. Main-text printed page=PDF page−2; cover/contents differ. The manual history lists V1.0.1, 4 July 2023; the datasheet is V1.1, 17 November 2022.
SDK links and documentation were checked; SDK archive contents, installers, firmware transfer and physical printing/connections were not tested. Verify current OS/CPU requirements and app implementation with the selected package/provider.
