OKI C650dn driver download
Choose the operating system and language on the exact model page.
Check the C650dn model and installed connections
This guide covers the European C650dn, order number 09006144, listed under the C650 family. It is an A4 colour LED printer. The model specification lists duplex printing, Gigabit Ethernet, USB 2.0 device and a separate USB host interface. The host socket is not the PC's Type B printer connection.
Wireless LAN requires an optional module and enabling it after installation. Do not assume it is fitted. Infrastructure and AP modes cannot be enabled together. Check the region and full device label rather than substituting another regional suffix.
For a PC USB connection, use the USB 2.0 Type B cable procedure, switch the printer off before connecting, and use the printer USB connector.
Choose the OS and driver language
On 2026-10-11, the C650 PCLXL driver 1.0.4 lists Windows 11 and Windows 10. OKI also offers a separate Windows PS driver. The macOS 26 PS driver is a separate 1.0.0 package; select your OS on the model download page for other releases.
The model page separates drivers, software packages, PPD files and utilities; firmware has its own section. A historical product OS table is not the current compatibility list. Check the selected package's architecture and restrictions, including for ARM computers and current Linux distributions.
C650dn not printing: test the device before the PC
Print Configuration without a computer job
When Ready To Print is shown, press Fn → 1 → 0 → 0 → OK. Confirm Configuration and Execute, then press OK (illustrated menu-map procedure). Wake power-save mode with POWER SAVE first if needed. A failed device print points to its display, media or mechanism; a successful one lets you investigate the PC connection and software.
Read the wired IPv4 address
Select Configuration → OK, press 5, select Network Setup → OK, then Wired(LAN1) Information → OK → IPv4 Address → OK (model instructions). Compare the displayed address with the Windows print port. The wired-LAN checklist covers changed Auto IP addresses and a wrong print port; do not copy the manual's example IP into your network.
Seven selected codes and the next check
If the display says Please see HELP for details, press HELP to see the code and guidance (display instructions). Match the number with the C650 error list.
| Code or symptom | First check | Help |
|---|---|---|
| 310 / 311 · Cover open | Close the indicated cover: 310 top/output tray, 311 front. | Official error list |
| 420 · Insufficient memory | Lower print quality in the printer driver and retry. | Driver settings and downloads |
| 460 / 461 · Paper mismatch | 460 MP tray; 461 Tray 1. Match application and tray paper size/orientation. | Paper-setting checks |
| 506 · No wireless access-point connection | Check access-point power, wireless settings and signal. | Wireless error explanation |
| 581 · Duplex unavailable | Close the rear output tray. | Rear-tray explanation |
| Device test works; USB PC job fails | Use a direct PC connection. If the driver installation is incorrect, reinstall the matching model driver. | This model driver guide |
The USB checklist distinguishes hubs/cables from an incorrectly installed driver. Also check ON LINE, enabled interfaces and the selected print port in the no-output checklist. Common PC checks include the selected printer and a paused queue. The table selects seven codes; consult the full official list for other messages.
