Identify QL-120X within the family
QuickLabel is an AstroNova label-printer brand. QL-120X uses CMYK dye ink at 1200×1200 dpi. QL-120, QL-120D and QL-120Xe remain separate models. Guide page 11 expressly includes QL-120X.

First setup, ink filling and USB timing
- QuickStart Revision A directs unpacking, printhead and ink installation through the full guide. Complete device setup before sending PC work.
- Its initial ink-fill estimate is about 25 minutes. Interrupting power or opening covers requires restarting that procedure; this is not a general wait time.
- Choose the installation procedure for the actual USB or network connection. QuickStart wording differs on USB connection timing; check the current installer and model instructions.

PC test patterns differ from FEED
Use 4×5-inch labels with PC Maintenance Utility → Test Print. If successful, check application/data; otherwise contact support. FEED advances stock offline.

Read 0101 with its error category
Record the category/message in PC Status Monitor or Maintenance Utility; the number alone is insufficient.
