CS3 (CS360) official driver downloads
Open the official download list and select Color Stream CS3 (CS360) ver.1.3. Avoid the adjacent CS2, CS2-c and S3 packages. The exact CS360 manual is listed separately under Manual.
CS3 product and CS360 model
Color Stream CS3 is the product name; CS360 is the model name in the exact manual. This is a dye-sublimation photo printer with USB 2.0. Standard resolution is 300 × 300 dpi; high-quality mode raises the paper-feed direction to 600 dpi. No Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection is established by these sources.
Official driver and OS scope
| Role | Observed scope |
|---|---|
| Windows | The global list observed on 19 October 2026 labels CS3 (CS360) ver.1.3, 31 MB, Windows 10/11 (64bit). This is listing metadata, not a verified binary or installation test. |
| Product-page scope | The product specification lists Windows 11. The broader Windows 10/11 statement above comes from the download list. A 64-bit label alone does not prove ARM64 support. |
| Other systems / firmware | Current macOS, Linux and ARM package support was not established here. A manual or firmware file is not the Windows print driver; check the exact package before use. |
Power, USB and actual PC queue
Connect the power cable with the printer switched off. The PC USB connection is at the left rear of the printer; seat the cable fully. Remove USB only while the printer is waiting, because interrupting transfer can corrupt the job. Common PC check: match the installed queue to CS360 and the actual USB port before reinstalling.
5-inch variant and roll loading
Check the actual media-width variant first: 127 mm (5-inch) stock and 5 × 3.5 / 5 × 7 output are limited to the 5-inch printer model. That model uses the supplied flange spacers. The manual warns against mixing 5-inch and 6-inch media on one unit because later output can show colour or registration defects. Do not treat a spacer as a conversion kit.
With power on, use the pull-out lever gently, open the upper cover and empty the trim-waste box. Fit the white and blue flanges fully into the roll core, without gaps, and match each flange colour to its holder. Remove the roll seal after seating it, then feed the leading edge until the buzzer sounds. Follow the exact diagrams for your media variant.

Ribbon and four-sheet initialisation
Seat the correct ribbon in its tray until it clicks, wind the take-up core to remove slack, and insert the tray along its guide. Keep dust off the ribbon. Close the print unit firmly with both hands until the buzzer sounds. Initialisation then automatically ejects four sheets; this is not a PC test image. The manual’s upper-cover closing order differs between the numbered paper step and the ribbon-page caution; use the diagrams and ask the supplier if closure is unclear, rather than forcing it.
Ready indication versus actual output
Watch both lamps together. POWER slowly blinking with ERROR off can be initialisation or head temperature adjustment; wait for POWER steadily on and ERROR off. This ready state does not establish that a host image printed. If readiness never returns, check the unit closure, media and jam indications below. No undocumented button-held self-test or reset is prescribed.
CS360 photo-printing errors and causes
Eight POWER / ERROR patterns
| Pattern | Meaning and next check |
|---|---|
| Power off | POWER off / ERROR off. |
| Initialising / temperature | POWER slow blink / ERROR off: wait for ready. |
| Ready | POWER on / ERROR off. |
| Media or ribbon | POWER on / ERROR slow blink: check paper absent/finished and ribbon absent/finished/unsupported; the lights do not distinguish these causes. |
| Jam or ribbon take-up | POWER on / ERROR fast blink: compare the paper path and ribbon take-up; recurring jams need service. |
| Print unit open | Both slow blink: close the print unit correctly. |
| Control board fault | Both on: the manual directs a power restart; if the fault remains, contact service. |
| Mechanical fault | POWER slow blink / ERROR on: frequent recurrence requires service. |
Eight cause checks
| Symptom | Check | Next step |
|---|---|---|
| PC cannot detect CS360 | Confirm USB at both ends and the queue/model/OS. Common driver check follows. | Next check → |
| Never becomes ready | Check closure, jam and media placement; distinguish slow and fast blinks. | Next check → |
| ERROR slow blink | Compare the loaded roll and supported ribbon; several causes share the pattern. | Next check → |
| ERROR fast blink | Check jam and ribbon take-up instead of assuming a driver failure. | Next check → |
| Four sheets emerge on closure | Documented media initialisation; wait for ready before sending an image. | Next check → |
| Print unit will not open | Check a level installation and objects obstructing the front. | Next check → |
| Blank straight strip / dots | Use the exact maintenance chapter; persistent strip defects need service. | Next check → |
| Board / mechanism indication | Record both lamps and their blink rates for service. | Next check → |
Paper jam and removal direction
Open the unit and remove the creased or already printed paper section with a straight cut across the roll. If it will not come out toward the ribbon side, use the upper-cover / roll-side route shown in the manual; do not force it through the mechanism. Reusing the folded section can cause another jam or a broken ribbon. Repeated jams require the service centre.
Missing print, opening difficulty and service
For a straight missing strip or dotted defect, consult Chapter 3 before cleaning the head or roller; the manual flags different possible dirty parts. It also directs service when a strip remains after cleaning. Keep the printer level and its front unobstructed. The printed 4-3 cross-reference on the jam page does not match its own 4-2 heading; the link here points to the actual PDF page.
Official sources and verification scope
Verified 19 October 2026 against the official 30-page CS360 manual YTE8-J0837E, Rev.3, revision date 9 September 2026. Ten complete selected PDF pages were visually reviewed. Page links use PDF positions, not printed chapter numbers. The URL filename has a later date than the printed revision. No numeric error codes were invented; no driver installation, firmware change or physical print test was performed.
