Identify 6805 and product P6805-1110
6805 is a 500-line/minute open-pedestal line matrix printer. This guide covers official product P6805-1110 and the manual’s 6805; it does not add Zero Tear, cabinet or other speed variants. TallyGenicom is a Printronix-owned brand.
The US official store marks this SKU discontinued with P8005 as its replacement. This supports existing 6805 units; replacement-model features/drivers are not transferred.

Print current settings with CONFIG, without a PC
CONFIG prints current settings on paper for comparison with host jobs.
- Prepare paper/ribbon, finish pending work and confirm Offline.
- Press CONFIG, the print-configuration icon.
- Confirm with ENTER to print; another key exits this function.
Compare the report and panel state
Read the LCD with the lamp: off means Offline, on Online, flashing Fault. For locked ENTER, consult the operator and page 22. SELECT loads saved settings instead.
