Files and OS limits

Listed in the actual product Resources panel on 2 November 2026. Listing metadata does not establish tested installation or payload signatures.

CheckEvidence and next check
Windows 12.4.03 June 2026 · 46.99 MB. Lists Windows 11/10 among its systems and explicitly excludes Windows on ARM. Its combined 32-bit/x64 listing does not mean each OS supports both.
Windows WHQLSeparate 2024.2_M-0 · 8 January 2025 · 47.52 MB. Its version scheme differs from 12.4.0; this entry also excludes Windows on ARM.
MacTSC-1.29 · 26 June 2024 · 5 MB. This resource row does not establish current macOS-by-CPU support; do not infer Apple Silicon compatibility.
LinuxV1.2.13 (64 bit) · 5 June 2024 · 919.85 KB. The 64-bit label alone does not establish every distribution or ARM64 support.

MB241T model check

CheckEvidence and next check
Print specsMB241T is 203 dpi and supports thermal transfer/direct thermal. MB341T in the same manual is 300 dpi; match the actual driver model and label design.
DisplayMB241T has a 3.5-inch touch LCD, distinct from MB241’s 2.3-inch display. Manual screenshots contain example dates/firmware, not the current installed version.
Width / optionsMaximum print width is 107 mm, distinct from stock width. Peel, cutter, linerless and RFID configurations are options, not assumed fitted to every MB241T.

Connection options

CheckEvidence and next check
USBDistinguish USB 2.0 for the computer from USB host for a scanner/keyboard. The rear-view diagram labels the USB interface as 3 and USB host as 5.
Ethernet / RS-232The standard specifications include 10/100 Mbps Ethernet and RS-232. Compare the LCD address with the PC queue’s destination; serial connections also require matching communication settings.
WirelessWireless/Bluetooth and GPIO are options. Verify installed modules and regional specifications; installing a driver does not add missing wireless hardware.

Print a configuration label from the LCD

  1. Check that no job is active, the intended media/ribbon is loaded and the printhead is latched.
  2. On the touch LCD, select Menu → Diagnostic → Print Config. This prints current settings and a printhead test pattern.
  3. If the configuration label is sound but PC jobs fail, check the connection destination and same-model MB241T driver. If the panel test fails or has gaps, investigate media/ribbon/head conditions first.

Reference: printed page 62 (PDF 67). Distinguish this menu test from the power-on self-test described under Dump mode.

Media path and sensor calibration

  1. Follow the printed pages 25–26 path through damper, media sensor and guide; position the sensor/guide and latch the head.
  2. When stock changes, use Menu → Sensor → Auto Calibration for its actual Gap, Black Mark or Continuous type. Stop jobs first; calibration advances stock.
  3. Match application/driver dimensions and gaps to the stock. For blank output, distinguish direct-thermal stock from transfer mode, ribbon loading and its inked side.

Lights and messages

Printed page 12: steady green means ready, flashing green can mean receiving data or paused, and amber means data clearing. Distinguish steady/flashing red and record the LCD message. Start with the matching display message below.

CheckEvidence and next check
Carriage OpenCheck the print-carriage latch; steady red alone does not identify a single cause.
Cutter errorAnother steady-red example. Report the fitted cutter, mode and message to support; avoid dismantling it.
No RibbonCheck ribbon exhaustion/loading against the actual thermal method and supplies.
No PaperCheck stock supply, threading and sensor calibration; visible stock may still be undetected.
Paper JamThe manual includes sensor/size mismatches as well as physically trapped stock.
Take LabelCheck for a label awaiting collection in peel mode. If no peeler is fitted, have support compare the configured mode and hardware.
Memory storage failureMemory may be full. Review storage with its administrator; do not indiscriminately erase files or reset the printer.
Flashing redCovers several paper, ribbon or memory errors. Read the exact LCD message before treating it as a driver-installation problem.

Hexadecimal printouts

  1. If output has received characters beside hexadecimal values, check for Dump mode. This diagnostic mode requires 4-inch-wide stock.
  2. The power-on self-test also enters Dump mode. Use LCD Print Config. for the ordinary test instead of repeatedly using power-on button combinations.
  3. Printed page 70 directs an off/on restart to leave Dump mode. First ensure jobs/updates have finished; restart normally with keys released, then compare RS-232 settings if output remains irregular.

Check the print failure

CheckEvidence and next check
Panel test also failsStart with the panel test and media path.
Only PC jobs failMatch model, destination and queue port, then use MB241T driver downloads.
Skipped labelsCompare dimensions, gaps and stock type under sensor calibration.
Blank labelsCheck thermal method and ribbon face/threading under supply checks.
Hex dumpCheck whether a previous diagnostic left Dump mode active.
Waiting for a labelCompare the peeler configuration with the Take Label message.

MB241T cleaning

This model’s printed pages 72–73 specify power O (Off), retaining the power-cord ground connection, and at least one minute of head cooling. Follow its specified 99% IPA/tools for the standard head/platen. Avoid direct liquid spray and canned air; use the specified soft non-metallic brush or grounded conductive vacuum for sensors.

Do not substitute another printer’s power/solvent procedure. Linerless platens have separate care requirements; do not apply the standard-roller recipe indiscriminately.

Information for support

Prepare the MB241T nameplate, fitted options/connection, LCD message, configuration label/pattern, supplies, OS/CPU and driver version. Persistent pattern defects, cutter issues or internal-wiring work belong with the supplier’s technical support.

Sources and checks

Checked 2026-11-02. English manual D explicitly covers MB241/MB341/MB241T/MB341T: 89 PDF pages, PDF numbering = printed + 5. Seventeen selected manual pages and one datasheet page were visually reviewed. Resource listings/OS notes were checked; installers, firmware changes and physical printer tests were not performed.
