This English quick guide is based on the Korean catalog. Confirm model-specific compatibility and installation details on the manufacturer’s official page.
Download TE200 driver
- Match the full model number on the device label, including suffixes.
- Check your operating-system version and architecture on the official support page.
- Cancel pending print jobs before replacing an existing driver.
- Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for power, USB, and network connections.
Model and driver source
This guide is for the 203 dpi desktop thermal-transfer/direct-thermal label and barcode printer with standard usb 2.0; internal bluetooth 4.0/5.3 is a factory option, not standard ethernet or wi-fi model TSC TE200. The download button opens the official TSC support page in this window. The manufacturer’s page is authoritative for the available driver packages and their current compatibility.
Operating-system and download checks
The Korean catalog lists these systems for checking: Current TE200 resource JSON lists Windows Driver 12.4.0 and WHQL 2024.2_M-0: Vista/7/8/8.1/10/11, Server 2008/2008 R2/2012/2012 R2/2016/2019/2022 and 32-bit/x64 editions. Windows on ARM is incompatible. Mac TSC-1.29 and Linux 1.2.13 64-bit/0.2.06 32-bit are listed; the actual 64-bit Linux archive is x86_64. Exact current macOS/Apple Silicon and every Linux distribution are not established by the old installation examples. TSC Console is management software, not the OS print driver.. Select your exact operating system and version on the official page. If your version is not offered, do not install a package intended for a different system.
Connection and installation
- Confirm TE200, OS/architecture, administrator rights, actual Bluetooth option, specified supply, USB data cable and media/ribbon. Save needed queues/settings. Power off before connecting the power jack.
- Manual section 3.1 connects power and the supplied USB cable, then switches power on. Also follow actual downloaded installer prompts rather than a universal USB-disconnect rule. Install the applicable official Windows package, select actual TE200 and USB port, set label dimensions/media mode and test.
- Load labels printing-side up through the sensor and onto the platen; centre the roll, adjust guides and latch both sides of the head. Gap sensor is fixed and black-mark sensor movable. Set the actual sensor type and calibrate whenever changing stock. Thermal-transfer ribbon follows the specified supply/rewind path and ink-side orientation.
- TSC Console uses Printer, Add Printers and the actual USB interface; Calibrate Sensor and Print Test Page operate on actual media settings. Discovery in Console is not proof of an installed OS print queue.
- Only after checking Mac compatibility, install the actual TSC-1.29-install.pkg; the bundled guide uses an older 1.22 filename. Add the USB printer with Use, Other and actual TE200 PPD under /Library/Printers/TSC/PPDs. Match custom media size/settings.
- Linux x86_64 includes a driver archive and installation PDF. An administrator reviews compatibility, dependencies and install-driver before following official installation. CUPS localhost:631, Add Printer selects the actual USB port and TE200 driver. Do not invent commands or universal distribution support.
- Ethernet, RS-232, USB Host and Wi-Fi procedures in the shared manual belong to TE210/TE310, not TE200. For actually fitted internal Bluetooth, verify option, host and printing-app support with TSC/supplier before following that configuration guide; do not invent menus or pairing codes.
Troubleshooting
Check power, USB data cable, actual TE200 queue/port and paused jobs. Head Open requires securely latched head; Out of Paper/Paper Jam and skipped labels require stock loading, actual dimensions and gap/black-mark calibration checks. Ribbon End/Encoder errors require compatible ribbon, correct orientation and supply. Check media mode, density, speed, guides and vertical offset for blank, faint or misplaced output. Power-cycle to leave Hex Dump when applicable; do not indiscriminately reset or delete saved files. Official cleaning powers off and cools the head for at least one minute, uses specified agents/tools and avoids spraying liquids, canned air and touching the head. Seek official service for persistent faults.
