The current product page’s Supports & Downloads separately lists RP 3230 Drivers (ZIP), RP 3230 PHP, the Quick Start Guide and brochure. Check the exact model and operating-system requirements.

Download listings and installation scope

CheckWhat to check
ZIP / PHPRP 3230 Drivers and RP 3230 PHP are separate links. ZIP contents, version, signature and CPU requirements were not inspected, and PHP was not executed.
OSThe product/brochure lists Windows 7/8/10, Server 2008/2012/2016, Linux, JavaPOS, OPOS and MacOS. This general list does not establish Windows 11 ARM or current Mac operation.
Guide scopeExact RP 3230 Quick Start Guide has two pages and refers to a separate User Manual. These pages do not supply a test-print hold time, reset procedure or numeric error table; other models’ procedures do not establish them.

Model, interfaces and media

CheckWhat to check
Wired portsIdentify USB Type-B, Ethernet, Serial and the cash-drawer port on the base RP 3230. The drawer socket is distinct from the PC/network interfaces.
OptionsThe current product marks Wi-Fi optional; the brochure also lists a USB+WiFi+BT option. Check the fitted variant; the separate RP 3230 ABW does not establish radios in the base unit.
Thermal rollDirect thermal, 203 dpi. Paper widths are 79.5±0.5 or 57.5±0.5 mm with a maximum 83 mm roll diameter; print widths are 72/48 mm. Listed maximum speed is 230 mm/s.

Ethernet default versus current address

  1. Use the Ethernet jack and a network cable to the router or host; compare the rear-port diagram in the Quick Start Guide.
  2. The documented factory default is Static IP mode at 192.168.0.31. It is not proof of the printer’s current address or DHCP allocation.
  3. The guide’s POS utility/web configuration requires host and printer on the same network segment. Use the actual configured address; no factory-reset procedure is inferred.

Quick Start page 2: Ethernet Setting

Connect power with the switch off

  1. Keep the switch at OFF for these connections.
  2. Seat the supplied adapter in the printer’s power input.
  3. Join its power cord to the adapter.
  4. Connect the cord to the outlet last. The guide notes regional adapter/cord differences; check the supplied hardware.

Check the thermal surface and roll direction

  1. Open the lid with the cover-release button.
  2. Match the roll orientation and marked thermosensitive surface in the page-1 diagram.
  3. Leave a short leader outside as you close the cover.
  4. Separate the excess paper. For blank output, a general first comparison is the paper type and orientation.

LED names and interpretation limits

CheckWhat to check
PowerIdentify the Power LED in the diagram. This source does not provide a blink-cycle fault table.
PaperIdentify Paper and compare the actual roll/loading condition; no blink count is assigned an error number.
ErrorRecord Error and the actual symptom. The product’s paper-end, cover, cutter and over-temperature sensor list is not an LED-code mapping.

General comparisons by symptom

These comparisons point to the exact-model documents; they are not a confirmed fault diagnosis.

Official sources and checked scope

Checked 2026-11-02. All four PDF pages and selected actual product/resource views were reviewed. No publication date is inferred from filenames or URL numbers. ZIP/PHP inspection, installation, terms acceptance, network changes and physical output were not tested.
