4. For wired LAN, connect Ethernet with power off, then power on. Configure IP before installing the driver. Menu, Host Interface, Network Setting, IPv4 Config., DHCP, Active applies to a DHCP network; restart if requested and read TCP/IP on the configuration page. A static address needs the administrator-assigned, non-conflicting IP, subnet and gateway.

Wait during Processing, Calibrating or Warming up. Match driver/tray settings and actual media for SizeMsmtch or TypeMsmtch, then follow the machine prompt to continue or cancel that job. Compare application layout and driver paper size if output differs. Let the fuser cool before official jam removal; avoid hot parts and force. Persistent faults require official service, not indiscriminate resets or deletion of all queues.
