This guide is for the squix 2 thermal-transfer label print-only printer,300/600dpi configurations. direct-thermal shown only for300dpi. separate 2p peel option,not mfp. usb device and10/100ethernet;usb wi-fi optional,not built in. model cab SQUIX 2. Connection and installation

1. Exact SQUIX Software/Drivers:expand Drivers,choose actual OS/CPU,model resolution and licence. Check actual SQUIX2 vs2P accessories,media/gap/sensor/ribbon/mode. Driver release notes:review old-layout migration before changing working installation.
2. July2026 Configuration manual covers serial14089+,not all units. Older serial14088-and-below needs corresponding old manual in Documentation. P6 device USB5 differs from host4/9;Instructions drawing device32 is different numbering. P7:install compatible driver,select USB port,then attach PC/printer cable;follow actual installer. Approved grounded power setup with printer off per SQUIX Instructions. Select real model/dpi/port/media and test small label;Feed synchronization when new media requires it.
3. Ethernet:approved LAN,current actual IP;do not replace working DHCP with sample address. P8:Standard TCP/IP port,real address,RAW/LPR per device,RAW default9100. Coordinate static IP/gateway/subnet;web address change can disconnect. Check actual queue/media and test.
4. Only installed compatible USB Wi-Fi option:Setup/Interfaces/Wi-Fi,enable,Operation mode Connect to network,Access point,actual approved SSID/Passkey,DHCP or authorized static details. Regular stick2.4GHzb/g/n;rod antenna option2.4/5GHz a/n/ac. Do not attribute5GHz to all units. Verify actual IP/TCPIP queue. Troubleshooting

No label found:missing label,format mismatch or continuous media wrongly configured as labels;fix only affected job and actual format. No label size or skipped labels:define actual length/gap,align sensor to real mark/gap. Out of ribbon/Remove ribbon:match actual ribbon and print mode;direct thermal only supported300dpi/media. Hot head:cool safely;follow official cleaning,do not touch hot head. Text instead of labels:ASCII dump mode. USB/network:power/Ready,device port,cable,current IP/queue. No mass-job deletion,reset,security weakening or forced firmware. Record model/dpi/serial/OS/file/error for support. Instructions29–31.
