Model and driver source
This guide is for the black-and-white desktop digital multifunction printer with print, copy, color scanning and fax; standard pcl6/ps3 emulation, 10/100/1000baset ethernet and 802.11b/g/n wireless lan. usb 2.0 is a host port for memory, not a verified pc printer usb port. model Sharp MX-B350W. The download button opens the official Sharp support page in this window. The manufacturer’s page is authoritative for the available driver packages and their current compatibility.
Operating-system and download checks
The Korean catalog lists these systems for checking: Actual WHQL 64-bit PCL6/PS/PPD package dated 2025-07-28 explicitly includes MX-B350W: Windows 11, 10/8.1/7 x64; Server 2025/2022 and 2019/2016/2012 R2/2012/2008 R2/2008 x64. Separate TWAIN 1.02.018.000 dated 2024-12-02 lists Windows 11, 10 x64/x86, Server 2022 and 2019/2016/2012 R2/2012 x64, not Server 2025. Actual Mac PS 3.0.0.4 dated 2025-11-28 lists macOS 26/15/14/13/12/11/10.15. It is a print package, not Mac scanning/PC-Fax. No Windows ARM, unverified Linux/CPU or Apple Silicon-native support is inferred. Legacy OS listings do not guarantee security.. Select your exact operating system and version on the official page. If your version is not offered, do not install a package intended for a different system.
Connection and installation
- Confirm MX-B350W, region, actual OS/architecture, administrator rights, saved queues/jobs/ports, toner, paper and power. The verified download path is North America US English; check regional service conditions. Never interrupt firmware updates. USB host is for USB-memory print/scan: do not invent PC USB installation. Official Mac instructions allow network printer connection only, not USB.
- For wired LAN, connect the printer to the intended Ethernet network, power on and read its real address in Network, Confirmation of Network. Extract the matching official Windows print package and run with administrator rights. Standard installation uses PCL6; Advanced selects the required PCL6/PS/PPD. Follow the actual package prompts. Choose the real printer or Specify Condition with its actual IP/hostname; Custom also allows IP addressing. Run Auto Configuration for actual installed options and test the intended queue/paper size. Restart only when prompted.
- For Wi-Fi, an authorized administrator uses SPECIAL FUNCTION, System Settings, their own PIN, Network, Connection Type, Wireless Infrastructure. In Wireless (Infrastructure), enter the actual SSID, supported security/encryption and security key. The model manual lists WPA2 Personal/AES; do not weaken security or guess PINs. Confirm an assigned address and keep computer/printer on the intended same LAN before creating the network queue. Access Point mode is a different connection, not the same router flow. Do not infer 5 GHz or Bluetooth.
- For Mac, mount the actual compatible PS DMG, read ReadMeFirst and run its matching installer. Add the actual model/serial under Printers & Scanners using installed matching Sharp software. For IP/IPP setup use the actual address, queue ipp and matching PPD as documented. Old UI screenshots do not establish identical current screens.
- Windows scanning requires the separate compatible TWAIN package. Install it, then SHARP MFP TWAIN K, Select Device, Search or input the actual IP, and select the real device. Test in a compatible TWAIN app on the same LAN with the actual original/save destination. USB-memory scan, email/SMB and physical fax settings are separate. The model software guide says scanner and PC-Fax drivers cannot be used on Mac.
Troubleshooting
If discovery fails, check power, LAN cable/router and the intended same network, then Specify Condition with the current IP. Ask the administrator about guest isolation instead of disabling all firewalls. For offline output, compare the actual current IP with the selected queue/port and paused jobs; DHCP changes can leave an old port address. Preserve other queues/jobs. Check PCL6/PS/PPD, Auto Configuration, actual options and matching paper for incorrect output. TWAIN needs its own installed driver, Select Device registration, current IP, same LAN and compatible app. A Windows EXE or Mac print-only package is not evidence of Mac scan support. Follow model display/manual instructions for physical errors and contact service for persistent faults. Do not apply another Sharp model-specific workaround, force disassembly, bypass authentication or reset the entire network.
