Operating-system and download checks
The Korean catalog lists these systems for checking: Actual StarPRNT Intelligence Software Full 3.8.1, 251 MB, lists TSP700II and Windows 11 x64, Windows 10/8.1/7 32/64-bit. Includes print drivers, utility, OPOS, JavaPOS and manuals; Setup EXE omits manuals. Actual Mac CUPS 4.13.0, 928 KB, updated 14 April 2026, lists TSP700II and macOS 15/14/13/12/11, OS X 10.15/10.14. A separate JavaPOS OS list or generic macOS 27 help does not extend this CUPS file to 26/27. No ARM/Server/Linux distribution compatibility is inferred. Legacy availability is not OS security support.. Select your exact operating system and version on the official page. If your version is not offered, do not install a package intended for a different system.
Connection and installation
- Confirm exact model, fitted interface, actual OS/CPU/rights, rated power and thermal roll. Preserve POS settings, queues/jobs and paper width. Review actual terms; no default firmware update, factory reset or blanket security disabling.
- Windows USB: keep disconnected until driver installation finishes. Extract Full and run setup, or use the official Setup EXE; follow Typical, Install, Finish. Power on and connect USB, then select the real automatically added queue under Printers and scanners and print a test page. Do not reinstall an already working driver unnecessarily.
- Ethernet: join the approved PC network, read the actual Current IP Parameters on the self-test. In Printer Utility Star PRNT choose model, Ethernet and Search Network, or the actual printer IP. Use Windows Printer Queue Management, Install Driver, Add and Test Print. Shared Wi-Fi headings do not prove built-in Wi-Fi.
- Bluetooth units only: after driver installation check self-test Bluetooth name and Auto-Connection OFF condition for Windows pairing. Coordinate changes to a shared device. Pair using the real PAIR indication and Windows device addition, find its actual COM port, then select Bluetooth and that port in Printer Utility and create/test the queue. Do not copy example COM3.
- Compatible Mac USB: defer connection until instructed, install the CUPS Driver-folder PKG, connect USB, verify the actual device under Printers and Scanners and test. Do not extend file support from newer generic screenshots.
Troubleshooting
No output: check power, roll/cover, actual queue/port, current IP or COM before reinstalling. Preserve working queues. Faded thermal output: check media quality and debris; switch off and let the head cool before the official cleaning procedure, and wait for complete drying before power-on. Do not touch a hot head, disassemble it or use repeated factory resets as a generic remedy. Official model-linked USB, Ethernet, Bluetooth and Mac help grounds these steps.
