The Korean catalog lists these systems for checking: Verified 8 October 2026: the official US APD 6 v6.12 detail lists TM-P80II and Plus, released 7 May 2026, 45.2MB, APD_612_P80II_WM.exe. Compatible systems: Windows 11; Windows 10/8.1/8/7 32/64-bit; Server 2019/2016/2012 and Server 2008 32/64-bit. Select the actual OS and expand Drivers / Advanced Printer Driver details. A Server 2022, Mac or Linux menu does not establish APD compatibility. ARM and other systems need their own file requirements. OPOS/JavaPOS/ePOS SDK are separate POS-application choices. Legacy availability is not OS security support.. Select your exact operating system and version on the official page. If your version is not offered, do not install a package intended for a different system.
Connection and installation
- Verify model, OS/CPU, administrator rights and actual wireless configuration. Prepare battery, specified receipt roll and data-capable USB-C cable. Review terms yourself; preserve working settings. No default reset/firmware change or security-warning bypass.
- USB: connect cable, start host, then power printer. Follow current official APD prompts for TM-P80II, real port and receipt settings; test output.
- Wi-Fi model: USB-connected TM-P80II Utility / select printer / Network; Add Port if absent. Apply approved network settings, then power off. On restart verify real IP and PC network, and APD network port. Bluetooth model: use official TM Bluetooth Connector to search/connect actual device and assign its port. No Ethernet procedure. Match POS application's connection requirements and test.
Troubleshooting
No output: check battery/power, roll, cover and real port. Allow an overheated head to cool; compare roll with layout settings. USB discovery: data cable/PC port. Wireless discovery: actual model configuration and network/pairing. Do not delete others' jobs or disable the firewall wholesale. Record model, OS, connection and actual error for official support.
